Abstract

The present invention relates to a novel compartmentalized beverage container device. The device is designed to save time and effort when mixing formula, protein shakes, health drinks, etc., and other powdered beverages. The device comprises a cylindrical container comprising a dry storage compartment and a liquid storage compartment that are separated by a divider. Specifically, the top quarter of the cylindrical container retains the dry formula or protein powder, and the lower half stores the water. The compartments are divided using a divider that has a turning mechanism on the outside of the cylindrical container. Turning the mechanism opens the divider and drops the powder into the liquid compartment, which is then shaken for use.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A compartmentalized beverage container device for saving time and effort when mixing a formula, protein shake or other drink, the compartmentalized beverage container device comprising:
a cylindrical container comprising a dry storage compartment and a liquid storage compartment; wherein the dry storage compartment and the liquid storage compartment are separated by a divider component; wherein the dry storage compartment is secured above the liquid storage compartment; and wherein the divider component comprises a pair of plates with co-aligned apertures that are repositionable to segregate the dry storage compartment from the liquid storage compartment, and repositionable to a communicative state whereby a content of the dry storage compartment and a content of the liquid storage compartment are mixed.

2 . The compartmentalized beverage container device of claim 1 , wherein the cylindrical container is hollow and sealed at a bottom end to form a cavity.

3 . The compartmentalized beverage container device of claim 1 , wherein the dry storage compartment comprises a dry formula or a protein powder.

4 . The compartmentalized beverage container device of claim 1 , wherein the liquid storage compartment comprises water.

5 . The compartmentalized beverage container device of claim 1 , wherein the compartmentalized beverage container device is configured as a baby bottle.

6 . The compartmentalized beverage container device of claim 5 , wherein the dry storage compartment is slightly angled a third of a way from a top of the compartmentalized beverage container device.

7 . The compartmentalized beverage container device of claim 6 , wherein the baby bottle comprises a bottle cap and a nipple.

8 . The compartmentalized beverage container device of claim 1 , wherein the compartmentalized beverage container device is configured as a beverage container.

9 . The compartmentalized beverage container device of claim 8 , wherein the beverage container configuration comprises a screw-on lid with an opening for drinking and an opening for a straw.

10 . The compartmentalized beverage container device of claim 1 , wherein the divider component comprises a turning mechanism on an outside of the cylindrical container.

11 . The compartmentalized beverage container device of claim 1 , wherein the pair of plates are secured together via a pin pivot.

12 . The compartmentalized beverage container device of claim 1 , wherein the pair of plates are rotatable between an open position with the co-aligned apertures aligned and a closed position with the co-aligned apertures nonaligned.

13 . The compartmentalized beverage container device of claim 12 , wherein the dry storage compartment is twisted to a right while the liquid storage compartment is twisted to a left, which aligns the co-aligned apertures in the pair of plates and allows a content from the dry storage compartment to enter the liquid storage compartment.

14 . The compartmentalized beverage container device of claim 13 , wherein the pair of plates comprise a spring pin lock port, a spring pin, and an O-ring for controlling the pair of plates.

15 . The compartmentalized beverage container device of claim 1 further comprising a locking mechanism to prevent an unintended mixing of a content of the dry storage compartment and a content of the liquid storage compartment.

16 . A compartmentalized beverage container device for saving time and effort when mixing a formula, protein shake or other drink, the compartmentalized beverage container device comprising:
a cylindrical container comprising a dry storage compartment and a liquid storage compartment that are separated by a divider component; a locking mechanism to prevent unintended mixing of a content of the dry storage compartment with a content of the liquid storage compartment; and a turning mechanism on an outside of the cylindrical container; wherein the content of the dry storage compartment is a dry formula or a protein and the content of the liquid storage compartment is a water; wherein the dry storage compartment is secured above the liquid storage compartment; and wherein the divider component comprises a pair of plates secured together via a pin pivot, that are rotatable between an open position with a plurality of apertures aligned and a closed position with the plurality of apertures nonaligned; and wherein the dry storage compartment is twisted to a right via the turning mechanism, while the liquid storage compartment is twisted to a left, which aligns the plurality of apertures in the pair of plates, allowing contents from dry storage compartment to enter liquid storage compartment.

17 . The compartmentalized beverage container device of claim 16 further comprising a plurality of indicia.

18 . The compartmentalized beverage container device of claim 16 , wherein the cylindrical container comprises a graduated measurement scale.

19 . The compartmentalized beverage container device of claim 16 , wherein the cylindrical container is between 8 oz. and 20 oz.

20 . A method of mixing a protein shake, health drink or formula without making a mess, the method comprising the steps of:
providing a compartmentalized beverage container device comprising a dry storage compartment and a liquid storage compartment separated by a divider component; pouring water into the liquid storage compartment and pouring dry ingredients into the dry storage compartment; securing the ingredients within the device by securing the dry storage compartment on top of the liquid storage compartment and securing a lid on the dry storage compartment; turning the divider such that the dry ingredients are released and drop down into the liquid storage compartment; and shaking the device to mix the dry and liquid ingredients together for use.
