Abstract
This invention pertains to paddles such as canoe paddles in which the angular relationship between the paddle handle and paddle blade can be adjusted. With respect to the paddle handle the blade orientation can be straight or angled and locked with an adjustable swivel joint.

1 ) A canoe paddle in which the paddle blade may be adjustably angled with respect to the paddle handle.
2 ) A canoe paddle of claim 1 comprising
a handle and blade
a cogged swivel joint connector between handle and blade,
a bolt and nut assembly through the cogged swivel joint connector to lock the blade into angular position.
3 ) A canoe paddle of claim 2 in which the paddle blade may be adjustably angled with a locking friction swivel joint.
4 ) A paddle for use with vessels such as canoes and kayaks in which the paddle blade may be adjustably angled with respect to the paddle handle.
5 ) A paddle of claim 4 comprising
a handle and blade
a cogged swivel joint connector between handle and blade,
a bolt and nut assembly through the cogged swivel joint connector to lock the blade into angular position.
