Attachment Solution For Attaching A Visual Media Display To A Vehicle

Abstract

An attachment apparatus for attaching an electronic media display unit to a vehicle has a containing arrangement that goes over a portion or a whole of the electronic media display unit, and an adhesive arrangement to facilitate adhering the attachment apparatus, and thus facilitate attaching the electronic media display unit to an outside of the vehicle. A portion or a whole of the adhesive arrangement adheres to the outside of the vehicle, outside a portion or a whole of a perimeter of the electronic media display unit, to facilitate attachment.

         47 . A vehicle media display unit system for displaying media on a vehicle, the vehicle media display unit system comprising:
 an electronic media display unit for displaying the media; and   an attachment apparatus for mounting the electronic media display unit onto an outside of the vehicle such that the media is displayed on the outside of the vehicle, wherein a portion or whole of the attachment apparatus is deformable, and wherein the attachment apparatus protects at least a portion of the electronic media display unit.   
     
     
         48 . A vehicle media display unit system as claimed in  claim 47 , wherein the attachment apparatus comprises:
 a containing arrangement that fits over a portion or a whole of the electronic media display unit; and   an adhesive arrangement to facilitate attaching the electronic media display unit to an outside of the vehicle, wherein a portion or a whole of the adhesive arrangement adheres to the outside of the vehicle in a region outside a portion or a whole of a perimeter of the electronic media display unit, to facilitate attachment.   
     
     
         49 . A vehicle media display unit system as claimed in  claim 47 , wherein the attachment apparatus mostly or fully surrounds the perimeter of the electronic media display unit. 
     
     
         50 . A vehicle media display unit system as claimed in  claim 47 , wherein the attachment apparatus protects a whole of a perimeter of the electronic media display unit.

A vehicle media display unit system as claimed in  claim 48 , wherein the attachment apparatus relies solely on the adhesive arrangement to facilitate attaching the electronic media display unit to the outside of the vehicle, and wherein the attachment apparatus is configured to not penetrate into any part of the electronic media display unit and not penetrate into any part of the outside of the vehicle to facilitate attachment. 
     
     
         52 . A vehicle media display unit system as claimed in  claim 47 , wherein a whole of the attachment apparatus is deformable. 
     
     
         53 . A vehicle media display unit system as claimed in  claim 47 , wherein the attachment apparatus is made at least partially of vinyl. 
     
     
         54 . A vehicle media display unit system as claimed in  claim 47 , wherein the electronic media display unit is able to receive display data related to information that is displayed by the media display unit.

A vehicle media display unit system as claimed in  claim 54 , further comprising a display data receiver to receive the display data, the display data receiver being separate from the electronic media display unit, and wherein display data can be transferred from the display data receiver to the electronic media display unit. 
     
     
         56 . A vehicle media display unit system as claimed in  claim 55 , wherein the display data is wirelessly transferred from the display data receiver to the electronic media display unit. 
     
     
         57 . A vehicle media display unit system as claimed in  claim 55 , further comprising a wiring arrangement to facilitate transfer of data from the display data receiver to the electronic media display unit. 
     
     
         58 . A vehicle media display unit system as claimed in  claim 55 , wherein the display data receiver is located internally within the vehicle. 
     
     
         59 . A vehicle media display unit system as claimed in  claim 54 , further comprising a separate computer device from which data can be received by the electronic media display unit. 
     
     
         60 . A vehicle media display unit system as claimed in  claim 59 , wherein the separate computer device allows a user to make a display data choice to display one of a plurality of displays on the media unit. 
     
     
         61 . A vehicle media display unit system as claimed in  claim 47 , wherein the attachment apparatus comprises:
 a portion that fits over a portion or a whole of the electronic media display unit; and   a portion that fits outside of a portion or a whole of a perimeter of the media display unit;   wherein a portion or a whole of an underside of the portion that fits outside of the portion or the whole of the perimeter of the media display unit is adhesive to facilitate adhering the attachment apparatus, and thus attaching the electronic media display unit to an outside of the vehicle.

A vehicle media display unit system as claimed in  claim 61 , wherein a portion or a whole of an underside of the portion of the attachment apparatus that fits over the portion or the whole of the media display unit is adhesive to facilitate adhering to the media display unit. 
     
     
         63 . A vehicle media display unit system as claimed in  claim 47 , wherein the electronic media display unit is powered via an adaptor/converter from the vehicle. 
     
     
         64 . A vehicle media display unit system as claimed in  claim 47 , wherein the electronic media display unit has its own power source, and wherein the power source comprises a battery. 
     
     
         65 . A vehicle media display unit system as claimed in  claim 47 , wherein the electronic media display unit has its own power source, and wherein the power source includes solar power. 
     
     
         66 . A vehicle media display unit system as claimed in  claim 48 , wherein the adhesive arrangement further comprises a pull-off element so that adhesive surfaces are not revealed until needed.
