Hair extension bead installation tool
Abstract
A hair extension bead installation tool includes a loop of synthetic polymeric filament having bonded ends; a stopper adhered to the bonded ends; and multiple metallic beads with longitudinal bores loaded around the loop. The stopper is larger than a diameter of the bores. A method of manufacturing the hair extension bead installation tool includes forming a loop of a synthetic polymeric filament; bonding the ends together; sliding metallic beads onto the loop and adhering a stopper to the ends. An approximately ¼ inch portion of the synthetic polymeric filament between the beads and the ends remains bare. The pre-loaded tool is much more efficient for the stylist and allows more time for working with the client's hair.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A hair extension bead installation tool, comprising:
a) a loop of synthetic polymeric filament having bonded ends; b) a stopper adhered to the bonded ends; and c) a plurality of metallic beads, having bores longitudinally therethrough, loaded around the loop;
wherein the stopper is dimensioned greater than a diameter of the bores.
2 . The hair extension bead installation tool of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of metallic beads have a silicone lining within the bores.
3 . The hair extension bead installation tool of claim 1 , further comprising a weighted base coupled to the loop between the stopper and the plurality of metallic beads.
4 . The hair extension bead installation tool of claim 3 , wherein the weighted base comprises a disc-shaped weight and a clip joined thereto.
5 . A method of manufacturing a hair extension bead installation tool, comprising:
a) forming a loop of a synthetic polymeric filament having a pair of ends; b) bonding the pair of ends together; c) sliding a plurality of metallic beads onto the loop, such that about a ¼ inch portion of the synthetic polymeric filament from the pair of ends remains bare; and d) adhering a stopper to the pair of ends.
6 . The method of claim 5 , further comprising clipping a weighted base to the ¼ inch portion of the synthetic polymeric filament between the stopper and the plurality of metallic beads.
7 . The method of claim 5 , further comprising aligning the hair extension bead installation tool parallel to a plurality of other hair extension installation bead tools within a storage container.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
