Stick vacuum with indexing vacuum head assembly

Abstract

Systems and methods for providing a vacuum cleaner with sliding vacuum head assembly. The vacuum head assembly comprises, for example, a vacuum motor, a dust bin, and a fan. The vacuum clean is configured for cleaning high and low surfaces based on a position of the vacuum head assembly along the vacuum tube.

         15 . A system, comprising:
 a vacuum tube; and   a vacuum head assembly operably configured to be slid to various positions along the vacuum tube, wherein the vacuum head assembly comprises:
 a handle; and 
 a vacuum motor that is operably located on a side of the vacuum tube opposite from the handle. 
   
     
     
         16 . The system according to  claim 15 , wherein the vacuum head assembly comprises a dust container. 
     
     
         17 . The system according to  claim 15 , wherein the vacuum head assembly comprises one or more rechargeable batteries. 
     
     
         18 . The system according to  claim 15 , wherein vacuum head assembly comprises a fan. 
     
     
         19 . The system according to  claim 15 , wherein the vacuum head assembly is movable along the length of the vacuum tube to preset locations, wherein the vacuum head assembly is in flow communication with the vacuum tube at the preset locations. 
     
     
         20 . The system according to  claim 15 , wherein the vacuum head assembly is movable along the length of the vacuum tube to preset locations, wherein the vacuum head assembly is in flow communication with the vacuum tube only at the preset locations. 
     
     
         21 . A vacuum cleaner, comprising:
 a tube; and   a head assembly operably configured to be slid to various positions along the tube, wherein the head assembly comprises:
 a handle; and 
 a motor that is operably located on a side of the tube opposite from the handle. 
   
     
     
         22 . The vacuum cleaner according to  claim 21 , wherein the head assembly comprises a dust container. 
     
     
         23 . The vacuum cleaner according to  claim 21 , wherein the head assembly comprises one or more rechargeable batteries. 
     
     
         24 . The vacuum cleaner according to  claim 21 , wherein head assembly comprises a fan. 
     
     
         25 . The vacuum cleaner according to  claim 21 , wherein the head assembly is slidable along the length of the tube to preset locations, wherein the head assembly is in flow communication with the tube at the preset locations. 
     
     
         26 . The vacuum cleaner according to  claim 21 , wherein the head assembly is slidable along the length of the tube to preset locations, wherein the head assembly is in flow communication with the tube only at the preset locations.
