Abstract

A video surveillance system includes: a detection unit that detects a predetermined event on the basis of an image captured by a first imaging apparatus; and a control unit that controls a second imaging apparatus such that the second imaging apparatus captures an image of a predetermined position after the detection of the predetermined event.

1 . A video surveillance apparatus communicable with a first camera and a second camera, the video surveillance apparatus comprising:
 at least one memory storing instructions, a plurality of surveillance location and a plurality of a camera parameter to capture the surveillance location, each of the plurality of a camera parameter corresponding to each of the plurality of surveillance location; and   at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to:   detecting intrusion of a person into a predetermined location which is a part of a captured image captured by the first camera; and   control, based on the stored surveillance location and the stored camera parameter, a photographing direction of the second camera to capture the detected predetermined location.   
     
     
         2 . The video surveillance apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to
 control a displayed screen to display a captured image captured by the first camera and a captured image captured by the second camera at the same time.   
     
     
         3 . The video surveillance apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the camera parameter includes posture information of the second camera to capture the surveillance location. 
     
     
         4 . A video surveillance method executed by a computer communicable with a first camera and a second camera, the video surveillance method comprising:
 by using a plurality of surveillance location and a plurality of a camera parameter to capture the surveillance location, each of the plurality of a camera parameter corresponding to each of the plurality of surveillance location,   detecting intrusion of a person into a predetermined location which is a part of a captured image captured by the first camera; and   controlling, based on the stored surveillance location and the stored camera parameter, a photographing direction of the second camera to capture the detected predetermined location.   
     
     
         5 . The video surveillance method according to  claim 4 , further comprising
 controlling a displayed screen to display a captured image captured by the first camera and a captured image captured by the second camera at the same time.   
     
     
         6 . The video surveillance method according to  claim 4 , wherein the camera parameter includes posture information of the second camera to capture the surveillance location. 
     
     
         7 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a program for causing a computer communicable with a first camera and a second camera to perform operations, the operations comprising:
 by using a plurality of surveillance location and a plurality of a camera parameter to capture the surveillance location, each of the plurality of a camera parameter corresponding to each of the plurality of surveillance location,   detecting intrusion of a person into a predetermined location which is a part of a captured image captured by the first camera; and   controlling, based on the stored surveillance location and the stored camera parameter, a photographing direction of the second camera to capture the detected predetermined location.   
     
     
         8 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 7 , wherein the operations further comprise
 controlling a displayed screen to display a captured image captured by the first camera and a captured image captured by the second camera at the same time.   
     
     
         9 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 7 , wherein the camera parameter includes posture information of the second camera to capture the surveillance location.
