Mobile enabled activation of a bank account
Abstract
A method of opening an account includes: transmitting, to a client device associated with the customer, a link that deactivates after a predefined amount of time; establishing a connection with the client device via a communication network for a simultaneous browsing experience based on receiving a selection of the link withing the predefined amount of time; transmitting, to the client device during the simultaneous browsing experience, first information for display via a graphical user interface (GUI); receiving, from the branch store computer during the simultaneous browsing experience, customer information relating to opening of the account during the display of the first information via the GUI on the client device; and, opening the account based on the customer information and the customer input received from the client device during the simultaneous browsing experience.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method of opening an account, the method comprising:
receiving, by at least one computer system and from a branch store computer, contact information for contacting a customer; transmitting, by the at least one computer system to a client device associated with the customer, a link that deactivates after a predefined amount of time; establishing, by the at least one computer system, a connection with the client device via a communication network for a simultaneous browsing experience based on receiving a selection of the link within the predefined amount of time; transmitting, by the at least one computer system to the client device during the simultaneous browsing experience, first information for display via a graphical user interface (GUI); receiving, by the at least one computer system from the branch store computer during the simultaneous browsing experience, customer information relating to opening of the account during the display of the first information via the GUI on the client device; and opening, by the at least one computer system, the account based on the customer information received from the client device during the simultaneous browsing experience.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the link is transmitted to the client device via a SMS message.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the connection with the client device is established based on a presence of the customer device within a location associated with the branch store computer.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the selection of the link during the predefined amount of time directs a web browser of the client device to a website associated with the branch store computer.
5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
transmitting, by the at least one computer system to the client device during the simultaneous browsing experience, second information for display via the GUI, the second information displayed subsequent to the first information for display, the second information configured to be displayed with an interactive slider component.
6 . The method of claim 5 , further comprising:
receiving, by the at least one computer system from the client device during the simultaneous browsing experience, a customer input via the interactive slider component.
7 . The method of claim 6 , further comprising:
transmitting, by the at least one computer system to the client device during the simultaneous browsing experience, third information regarding for display on the client device, the third information including a second selectable link having an expiration parameter.
8 . A computing system for facilitating opening an account, the computing system comprising:
a processing circuit comprising at least one processor coupled to at least one memory storing instructions therein that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processing circuit to:
receive, from a branch store computer, contact information for contacting a customer;
transmit, to a client device associated with the customer, a link that deactivates after a predefined amount of time;
establish a connection with the client device via a communication network for a simultaneous browsing experience based on receiving a selection of the link within the predefined amount of time;
transmit, to the client device during the simultaneous browsing experience, first information for display via a graphical user interface (GUI);
receive, from the branch store computer during the simultaneous browsing experience, customer information relating to opening of the account during the display of the first information via the GUI on the client device; and
open the account based on the customer information received from the client device during the simultaneous browsing experience.
9 . The computing system of claim 8 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, further cause the at least one processing circuit to transmit the link to the client device via a SMS message.
10 . The computing system of claim 8 , wherein the connection with the client device is established based on a presence of the customer device within a location associated with the branch store computer.
11 . The computing system of claim 8 , wherein the selection of the link during the predefined amount of time directs a web browser of the client device to a website associated with the branch store computer.
12 . The computing system of claim 8 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, further cause the at least one processing circuit:
transmit, to the client device during the simultaneous browsing experience, second information for display via the GUI, the second information displayed subsequent to the first information for display, the second information configured to be displayed with an interactive slider component.
13 . The computing system of claim 12 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, further cause the at least one processing circuit to:
receive, from the client device during the simultaneous browsing experience, a customer input via the interactive slider component.
14 . The computing system of claim 13 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, further cause the at least one processing circuit:
transmit, to the client device during the simultaneous browsing experience, third information regarding for display on the client device, the third information including a second selectable link having an expiration parameter.
15 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium with computer-executable instructions embodied thereon that, when executed by at least one processor of a computing system, cause operations comprising:
receiving, from a branch store computer, contact information for contacting a customer; transmitting, to a client device associated with the customer, a link that deactivates after a predefined amount of time; establishing a connection with the client device via a communication network for a simultaneous browsing experience based on receiving a selection of the link within the predefined amount of time; transmitting, to the client device during the simultaneous browsing experience, first information for display via a graphical user interface (GUI); receiving, from the branch store computer during the simultaneous browsing experience, customer information relating to opening of an account during the display of the first information via the GUI on the client device; and opening the account based on the customer information received from the client device during the simultaneous browsing experience.
16 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the connection with the client device is established based on a presence of the customer device within a location associated with the branch store computer.
17 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the selection of the link during the predefined amount of time directs a web browser of the client device to a website associated with the branch store computer.
18 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, further cause operations comprising:
transmitting, to the client device during the simultaneous browsing experience, second information for display via the GUI, the second information displayed subsequent to the first information for display, the second information configured to be displayed with an interactive slider component.
19 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 18 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, further cause operations comprising:
receiving, from the client device during the simultaneous browsing experience, a customer input via the interactive slider component.
20 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 19 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, further cause operations comprising:
transmitting, to the client device during the simultaneous browsing experience, third information regarding for display on the client device, the third information including a second selectable link having an expiration parameter.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
