Abstract

In one arrangement, a non-transitory computer readable media having computer-executable instructions embodied therein that, when executed by at least one processor of a computing system, cause the computing system to process an electronic transaction using a schema. The schema includes a first unique entity object identifier identifying a sender, a second unique entity object identifier identifying a receiver, and a first transaction object identifier identifying the transaction. The first transaction object identifier is located at a top level of a hierarchy of a plurality of transaction object identifiers. The schema further includes transaction information comprising the first unique entity object identifier, the second unique entity object identifier, and the unique transaction object identifier.

What is claimed is:

1 . At least one non-transitory computer readable medium having computer-executable instructions embodied therein that, when executed by at least one processor of a computing system, cause the computing system to process an electronic transaction using a schema, the schema comprising:
a first unique entity object identifier identifying a sender of an electronic message related to the electronic transaction; a second unique entity object identifier identifying a receiver of the electronic message; a first transaction object identifier identifying the transaction, the first transaction object identifier being located at a top level of a hierarchy of a plurality of transaction object identifiers; and transaction information of the transaction, the transaction information comprising the first unique entity object identifier, the second unique entity object identifier, and the unique transaction object identifier.

2 . The non-transitory computer readable media of claim 1 , wherein the schema further comprises a digital signature associated with the first unique entity object identifier.

3 . The non-transitory computer readable media of claim 2 , wherein the transaction information includes one or more of a reference number for the electronic transaction, a payment amount, a timestamp, an itemization of goods or services exchanged in the electronic transaction, a revision number for a document being revised in the electronic transaction, a sender business name, and a receiver business name.

4 . The non-transitory computer readable media of claim 3 , wherein the schema further comprises a time stamp token associated with the transaction.

5 . The non-transitory computer readable media of claim 1 , wherein the first unique entity object identifier identifies one of an individual, a legal entity, and a corporate entity.

6 . The non-transitory computer readable media of claim 1 , wherein the second unique entity object identifier identifies one of an individual, a legal entity, and a corporate entity.

7 . The non-transitory computer readable media of claim 1 , further comprising a second transaction object identifier identifying the transaction, the second transaction object identifier being located at the level immediately below the first transaction object identifier in the hierarchy of the plurality of transaction object identifiers.

8 . The non-transitory computer readable media of claim 7 , further comprising a third transaction object identifier associated with the transaction, the third transaction object identifier being located at the level immediately below the second transaction object identifier in the hierarchy of the plurality of transaction object identifiers.

9 . The non-transitory computer readable media of claim 1 , wherein the top level of the hierarchy defines a category of transaction object identifiers.

10 . A method for recording a transaction within a blockchain having a plurality of blocks, comprising:
writing a first message to a first block of the blockchain, the first message associated with a first transaction; writing a second message to a second block of the blockchain, the second message associated with a second transaction, the second message hash-linked to the first block; writing a third message to a third block of the blockchain, the third message associated with the first transaction, the third message hash-linked to the first block and the second block; and writing a fourth message to a fourth block of the blockchain, the fourth message associated with the second transaction, the fourth message hash-linked to the second block and the third block.

11 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the first message is a request for payment.

12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the third message is a response to the request for payment.

13 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the second message is a request for payment.

14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the fourth message is a response to the request for payment.

15 . A method for recording a transaction within a blockchain having a plurality of blocks, comprising:
recording a first message associated with a first transaction in a first block, the first message comprising data associated with the first transaction; adding a first time stamp to the first block, the first time stamp recording the time at which the first message was included in the first block, the first time stamp linked to a system of record; recording a second message associated with a second transaction in a second block, the second message comprising data associated with the second transaction; adding a second time stamp to the second block, the second time stamp recording the time at which the second message was included in the second block; and linking the second block to the first block by linking the second time stamp to the first time stamp.

16 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the first timestamp token and the second timestamp token are assigned by a timestamp authority.

17 . A method for verifying a transaction between a sender and a receiver, comprising:
assigning to the sender, by a transaction verification system, a first unique object identification number, the first unique object identification number being only associated with the sender; assigning to the receiver, by the transaction verification system, a second unique object identification number, the second unique object identification number being only associated with the receiver; assigning to the transaction, by the transaction verification system, a third unique object identification number, the third unique object identification number being only associated with the transaction; securing, by the sender, transaction tracking information associated with the transaction, the transaction tracking information including the first unique object identifier, the second unique object identifier, and the third unique object identifier; sending, by the sender, the secure transaction tracking information to the transaction verification system; providing, by the receiver, the second unique object identifier to the transaction verification system; and verifying, by the transaction verification system, the transaction.

18 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the transaction tracking information is secured using one or more of a digital signature algorithm and a post-quantum algorithm.

19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the transaction tracking information includes a sender timestamp, a transaction name, and other transaction information, the other transaction information including one or more of a payment amount, banking information, product information, a reference number, and contract terms.

20 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the transaction tracking information includes a time stamp token.
