Risk management system interface
Abstract
A method may include generating a user interface (UI) to facilitate interaction with a risk management system. The UI may include a first element indicating a rule used by the risk management system to manage risk for a client, a second element indicating effectiveness of the rule, and a third element invocable to modify the rule. The method may also include monitoring activity of the client to determine whether the activity of the client shifts the client into a different category of client; determining that the client is shifted into the different category; based on the shift, modifying the second element to include a recommended modification to the rule; and in response to receiving an interaction with the second element, applying the recommended modification to the rule.

21 . A system, comprising:
a non-transitory memory; and one or more hardware processors coupled to the non-transitory memory and configured to read instructions from the non-transitory memory to cause the system to perform operations comprising:
causing presentation of a user interface of a risk management system, the user interface including a set of elements indicating a set of rules used by the risk management system to manage risk for a client system;
monitoring activity associated with the client system;
based on the monitoring, generating a rule modification to at least one rule of the set of rules;
based on the rule modification, causing presentation of a modifying element within the user interface, the modifying element indicating a recommended change corresponding to the rule modification; and
in response to an interaction with the modifying element, applying the recommended change to the at least one rule.
22 . The system of claim 21 , wherein the activity associated with the client system includes transactions undertaken by a set of parties using the client system.
23 . The system of claim 22 , further comprising:
identifying an additional party related to the client system; identifying transaction data associated with the additional party; and incorporating the transaction data of the additional party within the activity associated with the client system.
24 . The system of claim 23 , further comprising:
generating a risk factor for the additional party based on the activity associated with the client system and the transaction data of the additional party.
25 . The system of claim 24 , wherein the modifying element includes a representation of the risk factor, the representation of the risk factor having a risk value and a textual description of a reason for the risk factor.
26 . The system of claim 24 , wherein the rule modification is a first rule modification, the modification element is a first modification element and the at least one rule is a first rule, further comprising:
generating a second rule modification based on the transaction data of the additional party; and causing presentation of a second modifying element within the user interface, the modifying element indicating another recommended change corresponding to the second rule modification.
27 . The system of claim 22 , further comprising:
identifying a set of approved transactions of the activity associated with the client system; and identifying a set of declined transactions of the activity associated with the client system.
28 . The system of claim 27 , wherein the modification element includes a transaction approval change based on the recommended change corresponding to the rule modification.
29 . A method, comprising:
causing presentation of a user interface of a risk management system, the user interface including a set of elements representing a set of rules for a client system; monitoring activity associated with the client system; based on the monitoring, causing presentation of a modifying element within the user interface, the modifying element indicating a range of changes corresponding to a rule modification to at least one rule of the set of rules; and in response to a value selection of the change, applying the value to modify at least one rule corresponding to the value of the change.
30 . The method of claim 29 , further comprising:
generating a risk factor for at least a portion of the activity associated with the client system.
31 . The method of claim 30 , wherein the modifying element includes a representation of the risk factor for the portion of the activity, the representation of the risk factor having a risk value and a textual description of the portion of the activity associated with the risk factor.
32 . The method of claim 30 , wherein the rule modification is a first rule modification, the modification element is a first modification element, and the at least one rule is a first rule, the method further comprising:
causing presentation of a second modifying element within the user interface, the second modifying element indicating another range of changes corresponding to a second rule modification to a second rule of the set of rules.
33 . The method of claim 30 , wherein the range of changes represent a set of values for a threshold level for the risk factor.
34 . The method of claim 29 , wherein the activity associated with the client system includes transactions associated with the client system:
identifying a set of approved transactions of the activity with the client system; and identifying a set of declined transactions of the activity associated with the client system, and wherein the modification element includes a range of transaction approval changes based on the range of changes corresponding to the rule modification.
35 . A non-transitory machine-readable medium having instructions stored thereon that are executed by a computer system to perform operations comprising:
causing presentation of a user interface of a risk management system, the user interface including a plurality of elements indicating rules used by the risk management system to manage risk for a client system; monitoring activity associated with the client system; based on the monitoring, generating a set of rule modifications to at least one rule of the set of rules; and based on the monitoring and the rule modification, causing presentation of a set of modifying elements within the user interface, the set of modifying elements indicating recommended changes corresponding to the set of rule modifications; and in response to an interaction with a modifying element of the set of modifying elements, applying a recommended change to at least one rule.
36 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 35 , further comprising:
generating a risk factor for at least a portion of the activity associated with the client system.
37 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 36 , wherein one or the set of modifying elements include one or more representations of the risk factor for the portion of the activity, the representation of the risk factor having a risk value and a textual description of the portion of the activity associated with the risk factor.
38 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 36 , wherein the set of modifying elements include a first modification element associated with a first rule modification for a first rule and a second modification element associated with a second rule modification for a second rule, the operations further comprising:
causing presentation of a third modifying element within the user interface, the third modifying element indicating another recommended change corresponding to a third rule modification for a third rule.
39 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 35 , wherein the activity associated with the client system includes transactions by a set of parties using the client system, the operations further comprising:
identifying an additional party related to the client system; identifying transaction data associated with the additional party; incorporating the transaction data of the additional party within the activity associated with the client system; and generating a risk factor for the additional party based on the activity associated with the client system and the transaction data of the additional party.
40 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 39 , wherein the set of modifying elements include a first modification element associated with a first rule modification for a first rule and a second modification element associated with a second rule modification for a second rule, the operations further comprising:
generating a new rule modification based on the transaction data of the additional party; and causing presentation of a new modifying element within the user interface, the new modifying element indicating another recommended change corresponding to the new rule modification.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
