Abstract

Disclosed is a fluid isolating pump. The fluid isolating pump includes a rotating cage, one or more roller assemblies mounted on the rotating cage, a cam plate, and a non-rotating central shaft. The cage includes a front plate and a back plate connected by multiple connecting rods. Each roller assembly is rotatably attached to a corresponding connecting rod of the cage. Each roller assembly includes one or more arms rotatably attached to the connecting rod, a connecting bar coupled to the one or more arms, one or more levers rotatably attached to the connecting rod, one or more suspensions, and a roller. Each suspension is coupled to at least one arm and to at least one lever. The roller is coupled to the one or more levers. The cam plate includes multiple openings having a first end and a second end. The connecting rod of each roller assembly is configured to slide from the first end of the opening to the second end of a corresponding opening.

1 . A consumable to be used in a fluid isolating pump, comprising:
 a rigid tube, the rigid tube having a substantially cylindrical shape;   a tubing having portions wrapped around the rigid tube, wherein the wrapped portions of the tubing are spaced apart from each other;   a first endcap coupled to an end of the rigid tube, wherein the first endcap is formed with at least a first routing feature and a second routing feature, wherein an inlet of the tubing is routed through the first routing feature and an outlet of the tubing is routed through the second routing feature, both the inlet and the outlet routed toward one axial end of the rigid tube.   
     
     
         2 . The consumable of  claim 1 , wherein, when the wrapped portions of the tubing are compressed by a roller assembly, the wrapped portions in the compressed state do not contact one another. 
     
     
         3 . The consumable of  claim 1 , wherein the first routing feature and the second routing feature are each configured as a channel or a hole through the first endcap. 
     
     
         4 . The consumable of  claim 1 , further comprising a second endcap coupled to another end of the rigid tube, wherein the another end is opposite to the end of the rigid tube coupled to the first endcap. 
     
     
         5 . The consumable of  claim 1 , wherein the tubing is made of an elastic material. 
     
     
         6 . The consumable of  claim 1 , further comprising a thermal element to control a temperature of a fluid inside the tubing. 
     
     
         7 . The consumable of  claim 1 , further comprising pumps for controlling an intake of fluid into the tubing. 
     
     
         8 . The consumable of  claim 1 , wherein, in the wrapped portions of the tubing, each wrapping of the tubing is spaced apart from adjacent wrappings of the tubing. 
     
     
         9 . The consumable of  claim 1 , wherein the rigid tube has a hollow center. 
     
     
         10 . A fluid isolating pump, comprising:
 a cage comprising:
 a front plate having a front opening, 
 a back plate having a back opening, and 
 a plurality of connecting members, each connecting member of the plurality of connecting members having a front end attached to the front plate and a back end attached to the back plate; 
   a plurality of roller assemblies, each roller assembly of the plurality of roller assemblies coupled to a corresponding connecting member of the plurality of connecting members of the cage, each roller assembly of the plurality of roller assemblies comprising:
 one or more arms rotatably attached to the corresponding connecting member, 
 a connecting bar coupled to the one or more arms, 
 one or more levers rotatably attached to the corresponding connecting member, 
 one or more suspensions, each suspension of the one or more suspensions coupled to at least one arm of the one or more arms and to at least one lever of the one or more levers, and 
 a roller coupled to the one or more levers; 
   a non-rotating central shaft, the non-rotating central shaft axially aligned with the cage, the non-rotating central shaft configured to support a consumable.   
     
     
         11 . The fluid isolating pump of  claim 10 , further comprising a rotational mechanism coupled to the plurality of roller assemblies, the rotational mechanism configured to rotate a roller of the roller assembly. 
     
     
         12 . The fluid isolating pump of  claim 11 , wherein the rotational mechanism comprises:
 a central gear that is rotationally fixed;   a plurality of peripheral gears, each peripheral gear of the plurality of peripheral gears mounted to a corresponding connecting rod of the plurality of connecting members of the cage, wherein the plurality of peripheral gears is engaged to the central gear.   
     
     
         13 . The fluid isolating pump of  claim 12 , wherein the plurality of peripheral gears is configured to rotate around the central gear as the cage rotates around the non-rotating central shaft. 
     
     
         14 . The fluid isolating pump of  claim 12 , wherein each roller assembly of the plurality of roller assemblies further comprises a roller gear coupled to the roller of the roller assembly, the roller gear engaged with a corresponding peripheral gear of the plurality of peripheral gears. 
     
     
         15 . The fluid isolating pump of  claim 11 , wherein the rotational mechanism comprises one or more belts or chains. 
     
     
         16 . The fluid isolating pump of  claim 10 , wherein the roller of the roller assembly of the plurality of roller assemblies compresses a tubing of a consumable when the roller assembly is in the engaged position. 
     
     
         17 . The fluid isolating pump of  claim 10 , further comprising a compression mechanism configured to apply force to each roller assembly in an engaged position, wherein the compression mechanism includes at least one of a cam mechanism, a pneumatics mechanism, a linkage mechanism, or a hydraulics mechanism. 
     
     
         18 . The fluid isolating pump of  claim 17 , further comprising a cam plate coupled to the connecting member of each roller assembly, the cam plate comprising
 a plurality of openings, the openings having a first end and a second end, wherein the connecting member of each roller assembly is configured to slide from the first end of the opening in a disengaged position to the second end of a corresponding opening in an engaged position to apply the force to a respective roller against a consumable.
