Board attachment mounting assembly
Abstract
A board attachment mounting assembly for mounting various attachments to a board. The assembly can allow multiple attachments to mount to a board. Further, the assembly may allow for attachments to be removed from a board (via releasing an attachment from the board attachment mounting assembly) while keeping the board attachment mounting assembly locked in place on or within a board or affixed to a board. Also, the board attachment mounting assembly may lock in place on or within a board or become affixed to a board regardless as to if an attachment has been attached to a board (via the board attachment mounting assembly). The board attachment mounting assembly can comprise a t-nut with at least one through-hole and at least one receiver, at least one flexible rod, and at least one extended t-nut with a least one through-opening, at least one angled through-opening, and at least one receptacle.

1 . A board attachment mounting assembly comprising:
at least two ends; at least one t-nut operatively forming a first end; said at least one t-nut comprising at least one through-hole; said at least one t-nut comprising at least one receiver; at least one flexible rod configured and dimensioned to be inserted into said at least one receiver of said at least one t-nut; at least one extended t-nut operatively forming a second end; said at least one extended t-nut comprising at least one through-opening; said at least one extended t-nut comprising at least one angled through-opening; said at least one extended t-nut comprising at least one receptacle; and said at least one flexible rod configured and dimensioned to be inserted into said at least one receptacle.
2 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 1 wherein said at least one through-hole passes through a vertical plane of said at least one t-nut.
3 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 1 further comprising threading within said at least one through-hole of said at least one t-nut.
4 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 3 further comprising at least one threaded screw bolt configured and dimensioned to screw into said at least one through-hole of said at least one t-nut via said threading.
5 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 4 wherein said at least one
threaded screw bolt is further configured and dimensioned to pass through at least one board attachment thereby affixing the at least one board attachment to said board attachment mounting assembly.
6 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 1 further comprising said at least one receiver passing through a horizontal plane of said at least one t-nut.
7 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 1 further comprising said at least one through-opening passing through a vertical plane of said at least one extended t-nut.
8 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 1 further comprising threading within said at least one through-opening of said at least one extended t-nut.
9 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 8 further comprising at least one threaded screw bolt configured and dimensioned to screw into said at least one through-opening of said at least one extended t-nut via said threading.
10 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 9 wherein said at least one threaded screw bolt is configured and dimensioned to pass through at least one board attachment thereby affixing at least one board attachment to said board attachment mounting assembly.
11 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 1 further comprising said at least one receptacle passing through a horizontal plane of said at least one extended t-nut.
12 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 1 further comprising threading within said at least one angled through-opening of said at least one extended t-nut.
13 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 1 further comprising at least one threaded grub screw bolt configured and dimensioned to screw into and traverse at least the depth of said at least one angled through-opening of said at least one extended t-nut.
14 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 1 further comprising said at least one t-nut comprising at least one flange and said at least one extended t-nut comprising at least one flange.
15 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 14 wherein said at least one flange of said at least one t-nut and said at least one flange of said at least one extended t-nut are each configured and dimensioned to slide into at least one groove of a track within a board.
16 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 1 wherein said t-nut and said second extended t-nut consist essentially of stainless steel.
17 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 1 wherein said flexible rod consists essentially of a thermoplastic.
18 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 1 further comprising at least one anti-twist structure located at each end section of said flexible rod.
19 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 18 further comprising at least one anti-twist receiving structure within said at least one receptacle of said t-nut and at least one anti-twist receiving structure within said at least one receptacle of said extended t-nut.
20 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 1 further comprising threading within said at least one through-hole of said t-nut and within said at least one through-opening of said extended t-nut.
21 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 20 further comprising at least two threaded screw bolts, configured and dimensioned to pass through at least one board attachment and screw into said at least one through-hole of said t-nut and screw into said at least one through-opening of said extended t-nut thereby affixing at least one board attachment to said board attachment mounting assembly.
22 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 1 further comprising at least one flange formed on said t-nut and at least one flange formed on said extended t-nut, each of said at least one flange being configured and dimensioned to slide into at least one groove of a track of a board.
23 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 22 further comprising threading within said at least one angled through-opening of said extended t-nut.
24 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 23 further comprising at least one threaded grub screw bolt structured to screw into and traverse at least the depth of said at least one angled through-opening of said extended t-nut to make contact with, and exert a force on, a track floor.
25 . The board attachment mounting assembly of claim 24 further comprising said at least one threaded grub screw bolt being configured and dimensioned to lift said board attachment mounting assembly off of said track floor and further configured and dimensioned to cause said at least one flange formed on said extended t-nut to exert a force on at least one surface of at least one groove of a track of a board.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
