Pants with an underside opening
Abstract
A pant with a closable opening encompassing the bottom portion of the crotch allows wearers with female urinary anatomy to urinate without having to lower the pant. The opening may be closed with any suitable mechanism, and preferably a zipper or overlapping flaps. The pant may also include a closable opening running from the center front of the waist band downward to varying degrees such that the pant includes two closable openings on the crotch. Alternatively, a single long closable opening may run from the center front waist area through the bottom of the crotch. This long opening is separated by a blocking member so that a single securement mechanism may be used to open and close the front and rear opening separately.

a compartment configured for hiding at least the second zipper pull from exterior view when the second slider is closed, the compartment formed proximate to a rear portion of the waistband via one or more stitches coupling a portion of the left and right flaps for a length at least as long as the second zipper pull, the one or more stitches enabling the second zipper pull to be hidden from exterior view via being tucked into the compartment defined between the stitched portion of the left and right flaps and the left and right zipper tapes when the second slider is closed.
6 . The pants according to claim 5 , wherein the interior flap and the exterior flap include curvatures to prevent bunching during normal wear of the pants by a wearer.
7 . The pants according to claim 6 , wherein the first zipper pull opens and closes the zipper track along the first closable opening and the second zipper pull opens and closes the zipper track along the second closable opening.
8 . A pair of pants comprising:
a waistband; a left leg portion and a right leg portion, the left and right leg portions joined to the waistband, the left and right leg portions partially separable from each other by an invisible zipper, the invisible zipper including at least; a first slider including at least a first zipper pull; a second slider including at least a second zipper pull; a left zipper tape joined to the left leg portion; and a right zipper tape joined to the right leg portion, wherein the invisible zipper is hidden from exterior view via the left and right zipper tapes being stitched into place with corresponding left and right flaps created by at least two opposing folds in each of the left and right leg portions, the left and right flap substantially covering an exterior portion of the invisible zipper when both the first and second sliders of the invisible zipper are closed; and
a compartment configured for hiding at least the second zipper pull from exterior view when the second slider is closed, the compartment formed proximate to a rear portion of the waistband via one or more stitches coupling a portion of the left and right flaps for a length at least as long as the second zipper pull, the one or more stitches enabling the second zipper pull to be hidden from exterior view via being tucked into the compartment defined between the stitched portion of the left and right flaps and the left and right zipper tapes when the second slider is closed.
9 . The closable opening according to claim 8 , wherein the interior flap and the exterior flap include curvatures to prevent bunching during normal wear of the garment by a wearer.
10 . The closable opening according to claim 8 , wherein the interior flap is connected to the interior blocking member.
11 . The closable opening according to claim 10 , wherein the exterior flap is connected to the exterior blocking member.
