Abstract

An apparatus comprising a base and a plurality of risers. The apparatus used to hold, secure, or store fishing hooks with hackle so that the hackle is not damaged by being compressed against an adjacent surface. The plurality of risers are magnetic in order that each riser can attract hooks so that each hook can extend out from the riser, thus protecting the hackle from adjacent surfaces, and each riser can be attached to the surface such that the riser extends out from the surface.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed:

         1 . An apparatus for the protection of hackle during holding, securing, or storing comprising:
 a riser and a surface; the riser comprising a first end, a length, and a second end; wherein the riser is at least one of having the first end magnetized and the second end magnetized or having the entire riser as a magnet; the first end comprising a shape, “A”; the second end comprising a shape “B”; the surface comprising an upper surface, a plurality of edges, and wherein the surface is attractive to magnets; and wherein, when either the first end, the second end, or a side of the riser is placed against the surface the magnetic force generated attaches the riser to the surface such that the length of the riser extends out from the surface.

         2 . An apparatus for the protection of hackle during holding, securing, or storing comprising:
 a riser, a surface, a plurality of sides; wherein the plurality of sides equal to the plurality of edges of the surface such that the plurality of sides surrounds the surface to create an enclosure; the riser comprising a first end, a length, and a second end; wherein the riser is at least one of having the first end magnetized and the second end magnetized or having the entire riser as a magnet; the first end comprising a shape, “A”; the second end comprising a shape “B”; the surface comprising an upper surface, a plurality of edges, and wherein the surface is attractive to magnets; and wherein, when either the first end, the second end, or a side of the riser is placed against the surface the magnetic force generated attaches the riser to the surface such that the length of the riser extends out from the surface.

         3 . An apparatus for the protection of hackle during holding, securing, or storing comprising:
 a riser, a surface, a plurality of sides, and a top; wherein the plurality of sides equal to the plurality of edges of the surface such that the plurality of sides surrounds the surface to create an enclosure; wherein the top comprises a plurality of boarders equal to the plurality of sides so that the plurality of boarders fits over the plurality of sides such that an enclosed space is created into which hooks with hackle can be held, secured, or stored; the riser comprising a first end, a length, and a second end; wherein the riser is at least one of having the first end magnetized and the second end magnetized or having the entire riser as a magnet; the first end comprising a shape, “A”; the second end comprising a shape “B”; the surface comprising an upper surface, a plurality of edges, and wherein the surface is attractive to magnets; and wherein, when either the first end, the second end, or a side of the riser is placed against the surface the magnetic force generated attaches the riser to the surface such that the length of the riser extends out from the surface.

         4 . The apparatus of claim 3 wherein the top is attractive to a magnet.

         5 . The apparatus of claim 2 wherein at least one side of the plurality of sides is attractive to a magnet; and
 wherein, when either the first end or the second end of the riser is placed against a side of the plurality of sides that is attracted to a magnet the magnetic force generated attaches the riser to the side such that the length of the riser extends out from the surface.

         6 . The apparatus of  claim 5  wherein the apparatus further comprises a top;
 said top comprising a plurality of boarders equal to the plurality of sides so that the plurality of boarders fits over the plurality of sides such that an enclosed space is created into which hooks with hackle can be held, secured, or stored.

         7 . The apparatus of claim 6 wherein the top is attractive to a magnet.

         8 . The apparatus of claim 1 wherein the apparatus comprises a shape, said shape comprising an exterior, wherein the exterior comprises a plurality of surfaces.
