Abstract
A method for processing an image is provided, in which a circular omnidirectional image is received. The circular omnidirectional image is displayed on a display. A first rectangular image representing a first part of the circular omnidirectional image is generated in response to a first user input received via the display on the circular omnidirectional image. The first rectangular image is superimposed on the circular omnidirectional image.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method for processing an image, the method comprising:
receiving a circular omnidirectional image; displaying the circular omnidirectional image on a display; generating a first rectangular image representing a first part of the circular omnidirectional image in response to a first user input received via the display on the circular omnidirectional image; and superimposing the first rectangular image on the circular omnidirectional image.
2 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising:
generating a second rectangular image representing a second part of the circular omnidirectional image in response to second user input received via the display on the circular omnidirectional image; and superimposing the second rectangular image on the circular omnidirectional image, on which the first rectangular image is superimposed.
3 . The method according to claim 2 , wherein
the first rectangular image is superimposed on a first position on the circular omnidirectional image, the first position being based on a position on which the first user input is conducted via the display, and the second rectangular image is superimposed on a second position, different from the first position, on the circular omnidirectional image, the second position being based on a position on which the second user input is conducted via the display.
4 . The method according to claim 2 , further comprising:
generating a third rectangular image representing a third part of the circular omnidirectional image in response to a third user input received via the display on the circular omnidirectional image; and superimposing the third rectangular image on the circular omnidirectional image, on which the first rectangular image and the second rectangular image are superimposed.
5 . The method according to claim 4 , further comprising:
switching a first display mode to a second display mode in response to a fourth user input, wherein
in the first display mode, the first rectangular image, the second rectangular image, and the third rectangular image are superimposed on the circular omnidirectional image, and
in the second display mode, the first rectangular image, the second rectangular image, and the third rectangular image are not superimposed on the circular omnidirectional image.
6 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising:
enlarging or reducing the first rectangular image in response to a fifth user input received via the display on the first rectangular image.
7 . An apparatus for processing an image, the apparatus comprising:
a processor that performs operations, the operations including:
receiving a circular omnidirectional image;
displaying the circular omnidirectional image on a display;
generating a first rectangular image representing a first part of the circular omnidirectional image in response to a first user input via the display on the circular omnidirectional image; and
superimposing the first rectangular image on the circular omnidirectional image.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
