Method and apparatus for holiday toy

Abstract

A capsule used for a holiday event is a spherical shaped capsule with a specialized pattern formed on its exterior surfaces. The capsule may be made of plastic and the specialized patterning may be a matzo pattern. A method for using the capsule can be to hide the capsule during a holiday meal or throughout the holiday as part of a game. Prizes can be placed within the capsule having a matzo pattern.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A method for playing a game:
 hiding a capsule during a Passover Seder, wherein the capsule comprises a non-edible first portion having a first exterior surface and a first interior surface, wherein the first portion comprises a first ridge, a non-edible second portion having a second exterior surface and a second interior surface, wherein the second portion comprises a second ridge, wherein the first ridge of the first portion is adapted to be snapped together with the second ridge of the second portion so that the first ridge and the second ridge are not visible from an exterior of the capsule, wherein when the first portion is snapped together with the second portion a spherical capsule is formed, wherein the interior of the spherical capsule is adapted to hold an item, wherein the first portion and the second portion has a pattern formed on the first exterior surface of the first portion and the second exterior of the second portion, wherein the pattern formed is a pattern of variably sized circles and dots;   searching for the capsule during the Passover Seder;   locating the capsule during the Passover Seder; and   opening the capsule to obtain the item.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the item is placed within the capsule during a manufacturing process. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 2 , wherein the item is a gift code that can be redeemed at a later point. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the first exterior surface is textured with indentions. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising a third portion, wherein the first portion, the second portion and the third portion snap and interlock together to form a sphere. 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the first exterior surface is textured with raised bumps. 
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the Passover Seder does not end until the opening of the capsule. 
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 1 , furthering comprising solving a puzzle to open the capsule. 
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein opening the capsule comprises breaking a frangibly secured connection between first portion and second portion to access the interior of the capsule. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first portion and the second portion is filled with a wax material. 
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising planting at least one of the first portion and the second portion that is fabricated from a biodegradable material. 
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein the capsule further comprises a Bluetooth signal emitter. 
     
     
         13 . A method for playing a game comprising:
 starting a Passover Seder;   hiding a capsule that is frangibly secured, the capsule comprising;
 a first portion having a first exterior surface and a first interior surface, wherein the first portion comprises a first ridge; 
 a second portion having a second exterior surface and a second interior surface, wherein the second portion comprises a second ridge, wherein the first ridge of the first portion is adapted to snap together with the second ridge of the second portion after the frangibly secured capsule is opened, wherein when the first portion is snapped together with the second portion a spherical capsule is formed, wherein the interior of the spherical capsule is adapted to hold an item, wherein when the first ridge is snapped together with the second ridge of the capsule and forms the capsule, the first ridge and the second ridge are not visible from the exterior of the capsule; 
 wherein the first portion has a pattern formed on the first exterior surface of the first portion, wherein the pattern formed on the first exterior surface of the first portion is adapted to have a pattern of variably sized circles and dots; 
 wherein the second portion has the pattern formed on the second exterior surface of the second portion; 
   hiding the capsule during the Passover Seder;   searching for the capsule during the Passover Seder;   locating the capsule during the Passover Seder;   opening the capsule by breaking the frangibly secured capsule; and   obtaining the item.   
     
     
         14 . The method of  claim 13 , wherein the item within the capsule is placed therein during a manufacturing process. 
     
     
         15 . The method of  claim 14 , wherein the item is a gift code. 
     
     
         16 . The method of  claim 13 , wherein the first exterior surface is textured with indentions. 
     
     
         17 . The method of  claim 13 , wherein the first exterior surface is textured with raised bumps. 
     
     
         18 . The method of  claim 13 , wherein the capsule further comprises a Bluetooth signal emitter 
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 13 , wherein the Passover Seder does not end until the opening of the capsule. 
     
     
         20 . The method of  claim 13 , wherein at least one of the first portion and the second portion is filled with a wax material.
