Abstract
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for wireless communications. A base station may determine configuration parameters for a wireless device. The configuration parameters may be based on traffic pattern information received from the wireless device, such as a traffic periodicity, a timing offset, and/or a message size.
Claims

receiving, by a base station distributed unit from a base station central unit, traffic pattern information associated with a wireless device; sending, by the base station distributed unit, at least one parameter associated with at least one resource for the wireless device, wherein the at least one parameter is based on the traffic pattern information; and sending, by the base station distributed unit to the wireless device, an indication of activation of the at least one resource.
2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving, by the base station distributed unit from the base station central unit, one or more initial parameters; and modifying, by the base station distributed unit and based on the traffic pattern information, the one or more initial parameters to determine the at least one parameter.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one parameter comprises a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration parameter for at least one SPS configuration for the wireless device.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the sending the at least one parameter comprises sending, to the wireless device, a message associated with the at least one parameter, and wherein the message comprises at least one of:
the at least one parameter, an updated parameter based on the at least one parameter, a configured grant (CG) resource configuration parameter based on the traffic pattern information, or a configured scheduling (CS) resource configuration parameter based on the traffic pattern information.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the sending the at least one parameter comprises sending the at least one parameter to the base station central unit, and
wherein the method further comprises:
receiving, by the base station distributed unit from the base station central unit, a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising at least one of:
the at least one parameter, or
an updated parameter based on the at least one parameter; and
sending, by the base station distributed unit to the wireless device, the RRC message.
6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving, by the base station distributed unit from the wireless device, a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising the traffic pattern information; and sending, by the base station distributed unit to the base station central unit, the RRC message comprising the traffic pattern information.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the traffic pattern information comprises at least one of:
a traffic periodicity field; or a timing offset field.
8 . A method comprising:
receiving, by a base station central unit from a wireless device via a base station distributed unit, a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising traffic pattern information, wherein the traffic pattern information is associated with the wireless device; sending, by the base station central unit to the base station distributed unit, the traffic pattern information; and receiving, by the base station central unit from the base station distributed unit, at least one parameter associated with at least one resource for the wireless device, wherein the at least one parameter is based on the traffic pattern information.
9 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising:
sending, by the base station central unit to the base station distributed unit, one or more initial parameters, wherein the at least one parameter is further based on the one or more initial parameters.
10 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the at least one parameter comprises a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration parameter for at least one SPS configuration for the wireless device.
11 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising sending, to the wireless device via the base station distributed unit, a second RRC message comprising at least one of:
the at least one parameter, an updated parameter based on the at least one parameter, a configured grant (CG) resource configuration parameter based on the traffic pattern information, or a configured scheduling (CS) resource configuration parameter based on the traffic pattern information.
12 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the at least one parameter is for at least one of a downlink, an uplink, or a sidelink.
13 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the at least one parameter comprises at least one of: an interval, a configured process, a release time, a two interval configuration, a configuration index, or a logical channel identifier.
14 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the traffic pattern information comprises at least one of:
a traffic periodicity field; or a timing offset field.
15 . A base station distributed unit comprising:
one or more processors; and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the base station distributed unit to:
receive, from a base station central unit, traffic pattern information associated with a wireless device;
send at least one parameter associated with at least one resource for the wireless device, wherein the at least one parameter is based on the traffic pattern information; and
send, to the wireless device, an indication of activation of the at least one resource.
16 . The base station distributed unit of claim 15 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further configure the base station distributed unit to:
receive, from the base station central unit, one or more initial parameters; and modify, based on the traffic pattern information, the one or more initial parameters to determine the at least one parameter.
17 . The base station distributed unit of claim 15 , wherein the at least one parameter comprises a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration parameter for at least one SPS configuration for the wireless device.
18 . The base station distributed unit of claim 15 , wherein, to send the at least one parameter, the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the base station distributed unit to send, to the wireless device, a message associated with the at least one parameter, and
wherein the message comprises at least one of:
the at least one parameter,
an updated parameter based on the at least one parameter,
a configured grant (CG) resource configuration parameter based on the traffic pattern information, or
a configured scheduling (CS) resource configuration parameter based on the traffic pattern information.
19 . The base station distributed unit of claim 15 , wherein, to send the at least one parameter, the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the base station distributed unit to send the at least one parameter to the base station central unit, and
wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further configure the base station distributed unit to:
receive, from the base station central unit, a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising at least one of:
the at least one parameter, or
an updated parameter based on the at least one parameter; and
send, to the wireless device, the RRC message.
20 . The base station distributed unit of claim 15 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further configure the base station distributed unit to:
receive, from the wireless device, a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising the traffic pattern information; and send, to the base station central unit, the RRC message comprising the traffic pattern information.
21 . The base station distributed unit of claim 15 , wherein the traffic pattern information comprises at least one of:
a traffic periodicity field; or a timing offset field.
22 . A base station central unit comprising:
one or more processors; and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the base station central unit to:
receive, from a wireless device via a base station distributed unit, a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising traffic pattern information, wherein the traffic pattern information is associated with the wireless device;
send, to the base station distributed unit, the traffic pattern information; and
receive, from the base station distributed unit, at least one parameter associated with at least one resource for the wireless device, wherein the at least one parameter is based on the traffic pattern information.
23 . The base station central unit of claim 22 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further configure the base station central unit to:
send, to the base station distributed unit, one or more initial parameters, wherein the at least one parameter is further based on the one or more initial parameters.
24 . The base station central unit of claim 22 , wherein the at least one parameter comprises a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration parameter for at least one SPS configuration for the wireless device.
25 . The base station central unit of claim 22 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further configure the base station central unit to send, to the wireless device via the base station distributed unit, a second RRC message comprising at least one of:
the at least one parameter, an updated parameter based on the at least one parameter, a configured grant (CG) resource configuration parameter based on the traffic pattern information, or a configured scheduling (CS) resource configuration parameter based on the traffic pattern information.
26 . The base station central unit of claim 22 , wherein the at least one parameter is for at least one of a downlink, an uplink, or a sidelink.
27 . The base station central unit of claim 22 , wherein the at least one parameter comprises at least one of: an interval, a configured process, a release time, a two interval configuration, a configuration index, or a logical channel identifier.
