Apparatus and methods for matching video records with postings using audiovisual data processing

Abstract

An apparatus for matching video records with postings using audiovisual data processing is provided. Apparatus may include at least a processor and a memory communicatively connected to the processor. The memory may contain instructions configuring the at least a processor to receive a posting including a plurality of criteria, receive a video record, extract a plurality of textual elements from the video record, identify a plurality of credentials from the video record, generate a compatibility score for the video record based on the plurality of criteria and the plurality of credentials, and match the video record with the posting based on the compatibility score.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An apparatus for matching video records with postings, the apparatus comprising:
 at least a processor;   a memory communicatively connected to the at least a processor, the memory containing instructions configuring the at least a processor to:
 receive a posting related to a job position, the posting comprising a plurality of criteria; 
 receive a video record, the video record comprising verbal content and an image component; 
 extract a plurality of textual elements from the video record as a function of verbal content and image component; 
 identify a plurality of credentials as a function of the plurality of textual elements; 
 generate a compatibility score for the video record as function of the plurality of criteria and the plurality of credentials; and 
 match the video record with the posting based on the compatibility score. 
   
     
     
         2 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of criteria comprises a requirement and a preference. 
     
     
         3 . The apparatus of  claim 2 , wherein the compatibility score is a function of whether the plurality of credentials satisfy the requirement. 
     
     
         4 . The apparatus of  claim 2 , wherein generating the compatibility score comprises determining the relevancy of the plurality of credentials relative to the plurality of criteria. 
     
     
         5 . The apparatus of  claim 2 , wherein the requirement is weighted more than the preference when generating the compatibility score. 
     
     
         6 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein identifying the plurality of credentials as a function of the plurality of textual elements comprises recognizing at least a keyword as a function of the verbal content. 
     
     
         7 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the memory contains instructions further configuring the at least a processor to generate a transcript of the video record as a function of the plurality of textual elements. 
     
     
         8 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein matching the video record with the posting comprises determining whether the compatibility score meets at least a minimum compatibility score. 
     
     
         9 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein matching the video record with the posting based on the compatibility score comprises matching video record to the posting if the compatibility score comprises a maximum compatibility. 
     
     
         10 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the memory contains instructions further configuring the at least a processor to:
 use image processing to convert the verbal content to textual data; and   compare the textual data to the plurality of criteria of the posting.   
     
     
         11 . A method for matching video records with postings using audiovisual data processing, the method comprising:
 receiving, at a processor, a posting related to a job position comprising a plurality of criteria;   receiving, at the processor, a video record comprising verbal content and an image component;   extracting, by the processor, a plurality of textual elements from the video record as a function of the verbal content and the image component;   identifying, by the processor, a plurality of credentials from the video record;   generating, by the processor, a compatibility score for the video record as a function of the criteria and the credentials; and   matching, by the processor, the video record with the posting based on the compatibility score.   
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein the plurality of criteria comprises a requirement and a preference. 
     
     
         13 . The method of  claim 12 , wherein the compatibility score is as function of whether the plurality of credentials satisfy the requirement. 
     
     
         14 . The method of  claim 12 , wherein generating the compatibility score comprises determining the relevancy of the plurality of credentials relative to the plurality of criteria. 
     
     
         15 . The method of  claim 12 , wherein the requirement is weighted more than the preference when generating the compatibility score. 
     
     
         16 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein identifying the plurality of credentials as a function of the plurality of textual elements comprises recognizing at least a keyword as a function of the verbal content. 
     
     
         17 . The method of  claim 11 , further comprising generating a transcript of the video record as a function of the plurality of textual elements. 
     
     
         18 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein matching the video record with the posting comprises determining whether the compatibility score meets at least a minimum compatibility score. 
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein matching the video record with the posting based on the compatibility score comprises matching video record to the posting if the compatibility score comprises a maximum compatibility. 
     
     
         20 . The method of  claim 11 , further comprising:
 using, by the processor, image processing to convert the verbal content to textual data; and   comparing, by the processor, the textual data to the plurality of criteria of the posting.
