Abstract
A computing device and method for profiling and diagnostics in an Internet of Things (IoT) system, including matching an observed solution characteristic of the IoT system to an anomaly in an anomaly database.

1 . Distributed server system configurable for use in association with providing at least one cloud service associated with Internet of Things (IoT) components, the distributed server system comprising:
processor hardware; machine-readable memory storing instructions for being executed by the processor hardware, the instructions, when executed by the processor hardware, resulting in the distributed server system being configured for performance of operations comprising:
generating modeling data for use in association with the IoT components, the modeling data being for use in association with predicting at least one failure condition and/or determining presence of at least one anomaly condition;
receiving input data from the IoT components, the input data indicating conditions detected at the IoT components;
determining, based upon the modeling data and the input data, whether the at least one failure condition is predicted and/or the at least one anomaly condition is present; and
in event of determination that the at least one failure condition is predicted and/or the at least one anomaly condition is present, generating alarm notification data indicating the at least one failure condition and/or the at least one anomaly condition;
wherein:
the distributed server system is configurable for use in association with structured query language searching of the modeling data; and
the modeling data is also configurable for use in association with device profiling.
2 . The distributed server system of claim 1 , wherein:
the distributed server system is configurable to perform data learning in association with the generating of the modeling data.
3 . The distributed server system of claim 1 , wherein:
the distributed server system is configurable to implement, after the determination that the at least one failure condition is predicted and/or the at least one anomaly condition is present, at least one action to attempt to reduce likelihood of the at least one failure condition and/or to correct the at least one anomaly condition.
4 . The distributed server system of claim 1 , wherein:
one or more of the IoT components is associated with:
at least one vehicle;
at least one autonomous vehicle;
at least one temperature sensor;
at least one weather sensor;
at least one drone;
at least one automatic teller machine;
at least one alarm system;
at least one camera;
at least one traffic monitor; and/or
at least one traffic light.
5 . The distributed server system of claim 1 , wherein:
the distributed server system is configurable to monitor central processing unit (CPU) usage and memory usage for use in association with the input data.

Non-transitory machine-readable memory storing instructions for being executed by processor hardware of a distributed server system, the distributed server system being configurable for use in association with providing at least one cloud service associated with Internet of Things (IoT) components, the instructions, when executed by the processor hardware, resulting in the distributed server system being configured for performance of operations comprising:
generating modeling data for use in association with the IoT components, the modeling data being for use in association with predicting at least one failure condition and/or determining presence of at least one anomaly condition; receiving input data from the IoT components, the input data indicating conditions detected at the IoT components; determining, based upon the modeling data and the input data, whether the at least one failure condition is predicted and/or the at least one anomaly condition is present; and in event of determination that the at least one failure condition is predicted and/or the at least one anomaly condition is present, generating alarm notification data indicating the at least one failure condition and/or the at least one anomaly condition; wherein:
the distributed server system is configurable for use in association with structured query language searching of the modeling data; and
the modeling data is also configurable for use in association with device profiling.
7 . The non-transitory machine-readable memory of claim 6 , wherein:
the distributed server system is configurable to perform data learning in association with the generating of the modeling data.
8 . The non-transitory machine-readable memory of claim 6 , wherein:
the distributed server system is configurable to implement, after the determination that the at least one failure condition is predicted and/or the at least one anomaly condition is present, at least one action to attempt to reduce likelihood of the at least one failure condition and/or to correct the at least one anomaly condition.
9 . The non-transitory machine-readable memory of claim 6 , wherein:
one or more of the IoT components is associated with:
at least one vehicle;
at least one autonomous vehicle;
at least one temperature sensor;
at least one weather sensor;
at least one drone;
at least one automatic teller machine;
at least one alarm system;
at least one camera;
at least one traffic monitor; and/or
at least one traffic light.
10 . The non-transitory machine-readable memory of claim 6 , wherein:
the distributed server system is configurable to monitor central processing unit (CPU) usage and memory usage for use in association with the input data.
11 . A method implemented by a distributed server system, the distributed server system being configurable for use in association with providing at least one cloud service associated with Internet of Things (IoT) components, the method comprising:
generating modeling data for use in association with the IoT components, the modeling data being for use in association with predicting at least one failure condition and/or determining presence of at least one anomaly condition; receiving input data from the IoT components, the input data indicating conditions detected at the IoT components; determining, based upon the modeling data and the input data, whether the at least one failure condition is predicted and/or the at least one anomaly condition is present; and in event of determination that the at least one failure condition is predicted and/or the at least one anomaly condition is present, generating alarm notification data indicating the at least one failure condition and/or the at least one anomaly condition; wherein:
the distributed server system is configurable for use in association with structured query language searching of the modeling data; and
the modeling data is also configurable for use in association with device profiling.
12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein:
the distributed server system is configurable to perform data learning in association with the generating of the modeling data.
13 . The method of claim 11 , wherein:
the distributed server system is configurable to implement, after the determination that the at least one failure condition is predicted and/or the at least one anomaly condition is present, at least one action to attempt to reduce likelihood of the at least one failure condition and/or to correct the at least one anomaly condition.

one or more of the IoT components is associated with:
at least one vehicle;
