Body Drying Device
Abstract
The present invention relates to a novel body drying device which allows for the efficient and quick drying of a user's entire body and/or hair without use of a towel. The device comprises a housing with a plurality of adjustable drying ports that are used to blow hot air to dry an area of a user's body and/or a user's hair. The device comprises a battery powered, wireless unit that can be hung from a wall via hooks or placed on the floor via a base. The plurality of adjustable drying ports can be manually moved and adjusted to a desired angle based on the needs and/or wants of a user.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A body drying device for quickly and efficiently utilizing a flow of hot air to dry a user without a towel, the body drying device comprising:
a housing; a plurality of adjustable drying ports; at least one air inlet vent for drawing a quantity of air into the housing; a heater for heating the quantity of air; and a blower for forcing the quantity of air through the plurality of adjustable drying ports and onto the user.
2 . The body drying device of claim 1 , wherein the housing further comprises a motor to control functioning of the blower.
3 . The body drying device of claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of adjustable drying ports are repositionable during use.
4 . The body drying device of claim 2 , wherein each of the plurality of adjustable drying ports is controlled via the motor.
5 . The body drying device of claim 4 further comprising a remote control that is used to control the motor.
6 . The body drying device of claim 1 , wherein the blower and the heater are mounted at a bottom of the housing for stability.
7 . The body drying device of claim 1 , wherein the blower and the heater are mounted at a top of the housing.
8 . The body drying device of claim 6 further comprising a tip switch that shuts down the body drying device if it becomes unstable.
9 . The body drying device of claim 1 further comprising a power switch, a heat adjustment switch, a timer and a plurality of sensors.
10 . The body drying device of claim 1 further comprising a ground fault detector and a temperature detector that will turn off the body drying device if it overheats.
11 . The body drying device of claim 1 further comprising a base unit that supports the housing in a vertical position relative to a ground surface.
12 . The body drying device of claim 1 further comprising a pair of keyhole slots that engage a pair of hooks on a wall to secure the housing to the wall.
13 . The body drying device of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the plurality of adjustable drying ports can be closed, while simultaneously at least one of the plurality of adjustable drying ports can be left opened during use.
14 . The body drying device of claim 1 further comprising a time delay device that is used to preheat the heater before the quantity of air is blown from the plurality of adjustable drying ports.
15 . The body drying device of claim 1 further comprising a wireless communication module that allows the body drying device to pair with a mobile application on a smart device.
16 . The body drying device of claim 1 further comprising an integrated power cable for charging the body drying device.
17 . The body drying device of claim 16 further comprising a wall-mounted charging unit such that the body drying device can be stored on a wall and charged.
18 . A body drying device for quickly and efficiently utilizing hot air to dry users without a towel comprising:
a housing; a plurality of adjustable drying ports; at least one air inlet vent for drawing a quantity of air into the housing; a heater for heating the quantity of air; a blower for forcing the quantity of air through the plurality of adjustable drying ports; a motor to control functioning of the blower; a power switch; a heat adjustment switch; a timer; and a plurality of sensors; and a wall-mounted charging unit.
19 . The body drying device of claim 18 further comprising a wireless communication module that allows the body drying device to pair with a mobile application on a smart device.
20 . A method of drying a user comprising the steps of:
providing a body drying device having a plurality of adjustable drying ports which expel a quantity of heated air; positioning the body drying device on a wall or on a base on a floor surface; adjusting an angle of each of the plurality of adjustable drying ports; adjusting a temperature and a speed of the quantity of heated air expelled; and turning off the body drying device and hanging it on the wall to charge on a wall-mounted charging unit.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
