Abstract
A connector member fixes an optical fiber. The connector member includes an optical fiber; a clamping member that clamps the optical fiber; and a friction imparting member that is interposed between the optical fiber and the clamping member.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A connector member that fixes an optical fiber, the connector member comprising:
the optical fiber; a clamping member that clamps the optical fiber; and a friction imparting member interposed between the optical fiber and the clamping member, the friction imparting member configured to impart friction force to the optical fiber, the friction force preventing the optical fiber from moving in a longitudinal direction.
2 . The connector member according to claim 1 , wherein a material of the friction imparting member is rubber.
3 . The connector member according to claim 1 , wherein
the friction imparting member comprises:
a first friction imparting sheet; and
a second friction imparting sheet disposed at an opposite side to the first friction imparting sheet with respect to the optical fiber.
4 . The connector member according to claim 1 , wherein
the clamping member comprises a body; and a lid, and the optical fiber is clamped between the body and the lid.
5 . The connector member according to claim 1 , further comprising a ferrule that is housed in the clamping member and fixes one end portion in the longitudinal direction of the fiber.
6 . The connector member according to claim 1 , wherein the optical fiber comprises a plastic optical fiber.
7 . An assembly method for a connector member that fixes an optical fiber, the assembly method comprising the steps of:
disposing a first friction imparting sheet on a body; disposing the optical fiber on the first friction imparting sheet; disposing a second friction imparting sheet on the optical fiber; and disposing a lid on the body, so that the body and the lid clamp the optical fiber via the first friction imparting sheet and the second friction imparting sheet.
8 . The assembly method for the connector member according to claim 7 , wherein the optical fiber comprises a plastic optical fiber.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
