Devices, systems, and methods for navigation and usage guidance in a navigable space using wireless communication
Abstract
A system for usage guidance using wireless communication includes a portable computing device, wherein the portable computing device is designed and configured to receive a signal from a first transmitter, parse the signal for at least a textual element, identify, in a first data structure, a first location and a second location of the signal, retrieve, from a second data structure, a usage data, and generate identifier-specific usage guidance as a function of the first location and the second location of the signal and the usage data. The system includes a user output component coupled to the portable computing device, wherein the user output component is configured to provide the identifier-specific usage guidance to a user.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A system for usage guidance using wireless communication, the system comprising:
a portable computing device, wherein the portable computing device is designed and configured to:
receive a signal from a first transmitter, parse the signal for at least a textual element;
identify, in a first data structure, a first location and a second location of the signal;
retrieve, from a second data structure, a usage data; and
generate identifier-specific usage guidance as a function of the first location and the second location of the signal and the usage data; and
a user output component coupled to the portable computing device, wherein the user output component is configured to provide the identifier-specific usage guidance to a user.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the signal comprises a unique identifier.
3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the signal comprises wayfinding data in addition to the unique identifier.
4 . The system of claim 2 , wherein identifying the first location and the second location of the signal comprises linking the unique identifier to a map of a navigable space in the first data structure.
5 . The system of claim 4 , wherein the map comprises a virtual map.
6 . The system of claim 4 , wherein the first data structure comprises a representation of the navigable space.
7 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising a second transmitter, wherein the first transmitter is located at a location of the navigable space and the second transmitter is in a possession of a user.
8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the location of the navigable space comprises a non-fixed location.
9 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the first transmitter comprises a passive transmitter.
10 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the first transmitter comprises an interrogator, wherein the interrogator is configured to receive the signal generated by the passive transmitter.
11 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the first transmitter comprises one or more sensors, wherein the one or more sensors comprises a user presence sensor.
12 . A method of navigation and usage guidance in navigable space, the method comprising:
receiving, using a wireless receiver, a first signal from a transmitter at a first location in a navigable space; parsing, using a portable computing device, the first signal for at least a textual element; extracting, using the portable computing device and from the textual element, a unique identifier of the transmitter; identifying, by the portable computing device, the first location in a first data structure by linking the unique identifier to the first location; determining, as a function of the first location, a location of the user; and providing, using a user output component coupled to the portable computing device, the location of the user.
13 . The method of claim 12 , wherein extracting the unique identifier of the transmitter comprises extracting wayfinding data, wherein the wayfinding data comprises a space type of the navigable space.
14 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the method further comprises:
retrieving, by the portable computing device, from a second data structure, usage data; and generating, by the portable computing device, a usage sequence for using a user feature, as a function of the location of the user, a second location, and the usage data.
15 . The method of claim 14 , wherein generating the usage sequence further comprises:
determining a group that the user belongs to as a function of the user identifier; and generating the usage sequence as a function of the group.
16 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the first location comprises a surface feature, wherein the surface feature is used as a reference point to navigate the navigable space.
17 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the portable computing device comprises data indicating a degree of the navigable space, wherein the degree of the navigable space comprises a level 1 location.
18 . The method of claim 12 , wherein providing the location of the user comprises linking the unique identifier to a map of the navigable space, wherein the map comprises a virtual map.
19 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the first data structure comprises a representation of the navigable space, wherein the representation of the navigable space comprises path data comprising a list of points.
20 . The method of claim 12 , wherein providing the location of the user comprises displaying the location of the user using a directional arrow.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
