Abstract

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a system for controlling vehicle display comprising: a traveling environment recognition unit configured to acquire traveling environmental information of a traveling vehicle; a control unit configured to generate control information associated with a displaying position of additional information that is to be presented on a display according to the traveling environmental information; and a display unit configured to display the additional information on a display region according to the control information.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A system for controlling vehicle display comprising:
 a traveling environment recognition unit configured to acquire traveling environmental information of a traveling vehicle;   a control unit configured to generate control information associated with a displaying position of additional information that is to be presented on a display according to the traveling environmental information; and   a display unit configured to display the additional information on a display region according to the control information.   
     
     
         2 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein:
 the traveling environment recognition unit collects the traveling environmental information associated with a state of a road surface in front of the traveling vehicle.   
     
     
         3 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein:
 the control unit predicts a vehicle traveling behavior according to the traveling environmental information, and computes an adjustment value of the displaying position of the additional information that is being currently presented through the display.   
     
     
         4 . The system of  claim 3 , wherein:
 the traveling environment recognition unit transmits traveling information of the traveling vehicle, and the control unit computes the adjustment value, considering the traveling information and the traveling environmental information.   
     
     
         5 . The system of  claim 3 , wherein:
 the traveling environment recognition unit transmits information of an occupant on the vehicle, and the control unit computes the adjustment value, considering the information of the occupant.   
     
     
         6 . The system of  claim 5 , wherein:
 the information of the occupant comprises at least one of a position of the occupant. a sitting height of the occupant, a position at which the occupant gazes toward the external object of interest, or a direction in which the vehicle occupant gazes toward the external object of interest.   
     
     
         7 . A method for controlling vehicle display comprising:
 (a) collecting traveling-associated information and predicting the vehicle traveling behavior;   (b) computing the adjustment value of the displaying position of the additional information associated with the external object of interest inside of and outside of the display; and   (c) displaying the additional information according to the adjustment value.   
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 7 , wherein step (a) comprises collecting the traveling-associated information associated with a state of a road surface in front of the traveling vehicle. 
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 7 , wherein step (a) comprises collecting a driving speed and deceleration information when passing a bump, and step (b) comprises calculating the adjustment value in consideration of the driving speed and deceleration information. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 7 , wherein step (a) comprises collecting a information of the occupant comprised at least one of a position of the occupant. a sitting height of the occupant, a position at which the occupant gazes toward the external object of interest, or a direction in which the vehicle occupant gazes toward the external object of interest, and step (b) comprises calculating the adjustment value in consideration of the information of the occupant.
