Multi-Function Freely Suspended Swing Apparatus
Abstract
Provided a multi-function freely suspended swing apparatus for hovering off the ground and moving around freely. The apparatus comprising: at least four swings, including at least two of the four swings being short swings configured to support arms and at least two of the four swings being long swings configured to support legs, wherein the four swings allow a user to hover off the ground and move around freely, allowing them to twist, turn, bend, and swing their bodies with dynamic mobility; a loop associated with each end of the four swings being secured by a securing means, each loop is attached to a carabiner, that is in turn attached to a strap depending on the height required; and a rubber mat embedded in the center of at least four swings to provide shape and a soft cushion for a user's body.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed:
1 . A multi-function freely suspended swing apparatus for hoovering off the ground and moving around freely, the apparatus comprising:
at least four swings of fabric, including at least two of the four swings being short swings configured to support arms and at least two of the four swings being long swings configured to support legs, wherein the four swings allow a user to hover off the ground and move around freely, allowing them to twist, turn, bend, and swing their bodies with dynamic mobility; a loop associated with each end of the four swings being secured by a securing means, each loop is attached to a carabiner, that is in turn attached to a strap depending on the height required; and a mat embedded in the center of at least four swings to provide shape and a soft cushion for a user's body.
2 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein at least four swings are made by folding a piece of fabric of a predefined length in half with the back side of the fabric facing up.
3 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the fold over of the fabric from the bottom edge of the fabric is 1 cm, and then the fabric is sewn across from each end of the four swings.
4 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the mat is a rubber mat.
5 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the loop is secured when fed in the fabric hoop by folding over the new bottom edge at 6 cm from each end of the four swings, and two lines across the fabric are sewn to reinforce each end of the short swings and long swings.
6 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the long swings are located as a lower set of swings and the short swings are located as an upper set of swings.
7 . The apparatus of claim 6 , wherein the lower set of swings, which support the legs, is 2.5 m long.
8 . The apparatus of claim 6 , wherein the upper set of swings, which support the arms, is 1.8 m long.
9 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the fabric is a waterproof fabric.
10 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the fabric is made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (aka Gortex), which is one of the strongest and most durable fabrics available.
11 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the securing means comprise a sewing mechanism that sews down the open edge of the fabric to create a tube and the fabric being turned inside out with the front side of the fabric facing up.
12 . The apparatus of claim 11 , wherein the sewing mechanism sews one line across, 1 cm from the edge, on both ends of the mat.
13 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the fabric is overlapped by 5 cm and sewn together from each end of the four swings, as the measurements of the fabric distort when the loop is pulled tight.
14 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein each of the four swings is shaped like a rectangle in the center and comprises a uniform tapered rectangular cross section at each end of the rectangle.
15 . A method for making a multi-function freely suspended swing apparatus for hovering off the ground and moving around freely, the method comprising:
cutting a piece of fabric to make at least four swings, including at least two of the four swings being short swings configured to support arms and at least two of the four swings being long swings configured to support legs, wherein the four swings allow a user to hover off the ground and move around freely, allowing them to twist, turn, bend, and swing their bodies with dynamic mobility; folding the piece of fabric of a predefined length in half with the back side of the fabric facing up to create at least four swings, wherein the fold over of the fabric from the bottom edge of the fabric is at a predetermined length, and then the fabric is sewn across from each end of the four swings; feeding and securing a loop associated with each end of the four swings being secured by a securing means, each loop is attached to a carabiner, that is in turn attached to a strap depending on the height required; and embedding a rubber mat in the center of at least four swings to provide shape and a soft cushion for a user's body.
16 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the loop is secured when fed in the fabric hoop by folding over the new bottom edge at 6 cm from each end of the four swings, and two lines across the fabric are sewn to reinforce each end of the short swings and long swings.
17 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the fabric is a waterproof fabric.
18 . The method of claim 15 , the fabric comprises expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (aka Gortex), which is one of the strongest and most durable fabrics available.
19 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the securing means comprise a sewing mechanism that sews down the open edge of the fabric to create a tube and the fabric being turned inside out with the front side of the fabric facing up.
20 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the sewing mechanism sews one line across, 1 cm from the edge, on both ends of the mat.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
