Broadcast receiving apparatus and portable information terminal

Abstract

A portable information terminal includes a controller configured to control a communication interface to transmit a charging permission response to a broadcast receiving apparatus in response to a charging permission request data transmitted when a broadcasting program that a user of the broadcast receiving apparatus desires to view contains an asset that requires charging. The charging permission response is allowed to be transmitted when positional information indicates that the portable information terminal is positioned inside of a predetermined positional range and apparatus identification information in the charging permission request data, by which the broadcast receiving apparatus is allowed to be identified, coincides with apparatus identification information stored in a memory. The controller controls the communication interface to transmit a charging denial response to the broadcast receiving apparatus when the positional information indicates that the portable information terminal is positioned outside of the predetermined positional range.

1 . A broadcast receiving apparatus, comprising:
 a tuner configured to receive broadcast data including video date and audio data of a broadcast program via a digital broadcasting;   a video decoder configured to perform a video decoding processing to decode the video data of the broadcast program received by the tuner and reproduce program video information;   an audio decoder configured to perform an audio decoding processing to decode the audio data of the broadcast program received by the tuner and reproduce program audio information;   a display configured to display video based on the program video information reproduced by the video decoder;   a speaker configured to output audio based on the program audio information reproduced by the audio decoder;   a wireless transceiver configured to wirelessly communicate with an external mobile terminal;   a memory configured to store a mobile terminal cooperation program for performing a cooperated operation with the external mobile terminal; and   a control circuitry configured to control the cooperated operation with the external mobile terminal via the wireless transceiver by executing the mobile terminal cooperation program stored in the memory,   wherein when the tuner receives an emergency warning broadcasting via the digital broadcasting, the control circuitry is further configured to control transmitting emergency warning information regarding the received emergency warning broadcasting to the external mobile terminal via the wireless transceiver.   
     
     
         2 . The broadcast receiving apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the emergency warning information is an emergency warning message. 
     
     
         3 . The broadcast receiving apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the emergency warning information is a broadcasting program of the emergency warning broadcasting or the application. 
     
     
         4 . The broadcast receiving apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the emergency warning information is a notification that the emergency warning broadcasting is started. 
     
     
         5 . The broadcast receiving apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the control circuitry is further configured to:
 set the external mobile terminal to perform the cooperated operation with the broadcast receiving apparatus, and   control transmitting emergency warning information regarding the received emergency warning broadcasting to the external mobile terminal, that is set to perform the cooperated operation, via the wireless transceiver.   
     
     
         6 . The broadcast receiving apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the control circuitry is further configured to display information of the emergency warning broadcasting on the display. 
     
     
         7 . The broadcast receiving apparatus according to  claim 6 , wherein the control circuitry is further configured to display the information of the emergency warning broadcasting by using an application. 
     
     
         8 . The broadcast receiving apparatus according to  claim 7 , wherein the information of the emergency warning broadcasting is caption message. 
     
     
         9 . The broadcast receiving apparatus according to  claim 8 , wherein the control circuitry further configured to superimpose the caption message with the video displayed on the display. 
     
     
         10 . The broadcast receiving apparatus according to  claim 8 , wherein the control circuitry further configured to:
 display an electric program guide on the display; and   superimpose the caption message with the electric program guide displayed on the display.   
     
     
         11 . A broadcast receiving apparatus, comprising:
 a tuner configured to receive broadcast data including video data and audio data of a broadcast program via a digital broadcasting;   a video decoder configured to perform a video decoding processing to decode the video data of the broadcast program received by the tuner and reproduce program video information;   an audio decoder configured to perform an audio decoding processing to decode the audio data of the broadcast program received by the tuner and reproduce program audio information;   a display configured to display video based on the program video information reproduced by the video decoder;   a speaker configured to output audio based on the program audio information reproduced by the audio decoder;   a wireless transceiver configured to wirelessly communicate with an external mobile terminal; and   an emergency warning broadcast processor configured to:
 watch a control bit included in the broadcast data received by the tuner, 
 process receiving emergency warning broadcasting when the value of the control bit changes, and 
 control transmitting emergency warning information regarding the received emergency warning broadcasting to the external mobile terminal via the wireless transceiver. 
   
     
     
         12 . The broadcast receiving apparatus according to  claim 11 , wherein the emergency warning information is an emergency warning message. 
     
     
         13 . The broadcast receiving apparatus according to  claim 11 , wherein the emergency warning information is a broadcasting program of the emergency warning broadcasting or the application. 
     
     
         14 . The broadcast receiving apparatus according to  claim 11 , wherein the emergency warning information is a notification that the emergency warning broadcasting is started. 
     
     
         15 . The broadcast receiving apparatus according to  claim 11 , further comprising a memory configured to store a mobile terminal cooperation program for performing a cooperated operation with the external mobile terminal;
 wherein the emergency warning broadcast processor configured to perform the watching, the processing and the controlling based on the mobile terminal cooperation program stored in the memory.   
     
     
         16 . The broadcast receiving apparatus according to  claim 11 , wherein the emergency warning broadcast processor is further configured to display information of the emergency warning broadcasting on the display. 
     
     
         17 . The broadcast receiving apparatus according to  claim 16 , wherein the emergency warning broadcast processor is further configured to display the information of the emergency warning broadcasting by using an application. 
     
     
         18 . The broadcast receiving apparatus according to  claim 17 , wherein the information of the emergency warning broadcasting is caption message. 
     
     
         19 . The broadcast receiving apparatus according to  claim 18 , wherein the emergency warning broadcast processor further configured to superimpose the caption message with the video displayed on the display. 
     
     
         20 . The broadcast receiving apparatus according to  claim 18 , wherein the emergency warning broadcast processor further configured to superimpose the caption message with an electric program guide displayed on the display.
