. The golf bag of claim 1 , wherein the attachment mechanism and the auxiliary attachment mechanism can be located at any position on the body.

. The golf bag of claim 2 , wherein the auxiliary attachment mechanism is located nearer the bottom portion of the body compared to the attachment mechanism.

. The golf bag of claim 3 , wherein the auxiliary attachment mechanism is a loop design.

. The golf bag of claim 4 , wherein the second portion of the towel sits within the loop design.

. The golf bag of claim 5 , wherein the auxiliary attachment mechanism is made from an elastic band.

. The golf bag of claim 5 , wherein the auxiliary attachment mechanism and the body comprise a hook-and-loop fastening apparatus to form the loop design.

. The golf bag of claim 5 , wherein the auxiliary attachment mechanism and the body comprise a snap fastening apparatus to form the loop design.

. The golf bag of claim 5 , wherein the auxiliary attachment mechanism and the body comprise a clip fastening apparatus to form the loop design.

. The golf bag of claim 5 , wherein the auxiliary attachment mechanism and the body comprise a buckle fastening apparatus to form the loop design.

. A golf bag comprising:
a body defining a housing extending between a bottom portion and a top portion, a first side and a second side, the housing adapted to receive one or more golf clubs; a pair of legs pivotally coupled to the top portion of the body; an attachment mechanism to the body, the attachment mechanism configured to secure a first portion of a towel; and an auxiliary attachment mechanism coupled to the bag separately from the attachment mechanism comprising a first member and a second member; wherein the first member and the second member are fastened together; wherein the auxiliary attachment mechanism supports a second portion of the towel.

. The golf bag of claim 11 , wherein the attachment mechanism and the auxiliary attachment mechanism can be located at any position on the body.

. The golf bag of claim 12 , wherein the auxiliary attachment mechanism is located nearer the bottom portion of the body compared to the attachment mechanism.

. The golf bag of claim 13 , wherein the auxiliary attachment mechanism first member and the auxiliary attachment mechanism second member can be fastened together to form a loop design.

. The golf bag of claim 14 , wherein the second portion of the towel sits within the loop design.

. The golf bag of claim 15 , wherein the auxiliary attachment mechanism first member and the auxiliary attachment mechanism second member comprise a hook-and-loop fastening apparatus to form the loop design.

. The golf bag of claim 15 , wherein the auxiliary attachment mechanism first member and the auxiliary attachment mechanism second member comprise a snap fastening apparatus to form the loop design.

. The golf bag of claim 15 , wherein the auxiliary attachment mechanism first member and the auxiliary attachment mechanism second member comprise a clip fastening apparatus to form the loop design.
