Sanitary Tissue Dispenser and Disposal Device

Abstract

The disclosed technology includes a tissue dispenser and disposal device. In one example, the tissue dispenser and disposal device includes a housing comprising a plurality of walls and at least two openings defined in the plurality of walls. The housing defines a housing receptacle that is sized to fit at least two tissue holders such that the at least two tissue holders are positioned relative to one another and to the plurality of walls to limit movement of the at least two tissue holders when the at least two tissue holders are positioned inside the housing receptacle. A first opening of the at least two openings is defined in a first wall of the plurality of walls and the at least two openings are sized to allow a tissue to pass therethrough.

We claim: 
     
         1 . A tissue dispenser and disposal device, comprising:
 a housing comprising a plurality of walls, wherein the housing defines a housing receptacle that is sized to fit at least two tissue holders such that the at least two tissue holders are positioned relative to one another and to the plurality of walls to limit movement of the at least two tissue holders when the at least two tissue holders are positioned inside the housing receptacle; and   at least two openings defined in the plurality of walls, wherein a first opening of the at least two openings is defined in a first wall of the plurality of walls and the at least two openings are sized to allow a tissue to pass therethrough.   
     
     
         2 . The tissue dispenser and disposal device of  claim 1 , wherein a second opening of the at least two openings is defined in the first wall. 
     
     
         3 . The tissue dispenser and disposal device of  claim 2 , wherein the first wall is a lid hingedly coupled to a second wall of the plurality of walls. 
     
     
         4 . The tissue dispenser and disposal device of  claim 1 , wherein the at least two tissue holders comprise a first tissue holder comprising a first tissue holder opening and a second tissue holder comprising a second tissue holder opening, wherein the at least two openings are positioned on the housing to correspond to positions of the first tissue holder opening and the second tissue holder opening when the first tissue holder and the second tissue holder are positioned inside the receptacle. 
     
     
         5 . The tissue dispenser and disposal device of  claim 1 , wherein
 the housing has a length that is greater than a width of the housing forming rectangular shape,   a second opening of the at least two openings is defined in a second wall, and   the first wall and the second wall form opposing walls that define the length of the housing.   
     
     
         6 . The tissue dispenser and disposal device of  claim 5 , wherein the at least two tissue holders are at least two conventional rectangular tissue boxes and a distance between the first wall and the second wall is at least double a height of a conventional rectangular tissue box. 
     
     
         7 . The tissue dispenser and disposal device of  claim 5 , wherein the at least two tissue holders are at least two conventional pocket tissue packets and a distance between the first wall and the second wall is at least double a thickness of a conventional pocket tissue packet. 
     
     
         8 . The tissue dispenser and disposal device of  claim 1 , further comprising a storage compartment, wherein the storage compartment is formed by storage compartment walls, wherein the storage compartment walls comprise a portion of two opposing walls of the plurality of walls, a third wall of the plurality of walls, a fourth wall of the plurality of walls, and a divider wall, wherein the divider wall separates the storage compartment from the housing receptacle. 
     
     
         9 . The tissue dispenser and disposal device of  claim 8 , wherein the storage compartment walls form a storage compartment opening to the storage compartment, wherein the storage compartment opening is unobstructed to facilitate access to one or more sanitation products when the one or more sanitation products are stored inside the storage compartment. 
     
     
         10 . The tissue dispenser and disposal device of  claim 8 , wherein the two opposing walls of the plurality of walls comprise the first wall and a second wall that defines a second opening of the at least two openings. 
     
     
         11 . The tissue dispenser and disposal device of  claim 2 , further comprising a storage compartment, wherein
 the storage compartment is a pocket coupled to a second wall of the plurality of walls,   the pocket defines a pocket opening, and   the pocket comprises a closing mechanism to expand the pocket opening to fit one or more sanitation products.   
     
     
         12 . The dispenser and disposal device of  claim 1 , further comprising a handle or loop coupled to the first wall or to a second wall of the plurality of walls. 
     
     
         13 . The dispenser and disposal device of  claim 1 , wherein the at least two openings comprise a dispenser opening and a disposal opening, wherein the dispenser opening is defined by a clean tissue holder being positioned adjacent to the dispenser opening and the disposal opening is defined by an empty tissue holder being positioned adjacent to the disposal opening. 
     
     
         14 . A tissue dispenser and disposal device, comprising:
 a housing defining a receptacle and a receptacle opening, the housing comprising:
 a front wall, a rear wall, and a bottom wall that define a length of the housing, and 
 a side wall that defines a width of the housing, 
 wherein the length of the housing is greater than the width of the housing; 
   a lid coupled to the rear wall and positioned over the opening, wherein the lid defines a first lid opening and a second lid opening; and   a storage compartment defined by a portion of the front wall, a portion of the rear wall, a portion of the bottom wall, the side wall, and a divider wall, wherein the divider wall separates the storage compartment from the receptacle;   wherein the receptacle is sized to fit a first tissue holder positioned adjacent to a second tissue holder, wherein the first tissue holder comprises a first tissue holder opening and the second tissue holder comprises a second tissue holder opening and the first lid opening and the second lid opening are positioned on the lid to correspond to positions of the first tissue holder opening and the second tissue holder opening when the first tissue holder and the second tissue holder are positioned inside the receptacle.   
     
     
         15 . The tissue dispenser and disposal device of  claim 14 , wherein the first tissue holder and the second tissue holder are conventional square tissue boxes. 
     
     
         16 . A method of using a tissue dispenser and disposal device, comprising:
 positioning a lid of the tissue dispenser and disposal device in an open configuration, wherein the lid is hingedly coupled to a housing and the housing defines a receptacle that is sized to fit two tissue boxes;   removing a tissue box containing used tissues from a first position in the receptacle;   moving an empty tissue box from a second position in the receptacle to the first position;   placing a clean tissue box in the second position; and   positioning the lid in a closed configuration.   
     
     
         17 . The method of  claim 16 , wherein the lid defines a dispenser opening and a disposal opening, and positioning the lid in a closed configuration comprises positioning the lid such that the dispenser opening is positioned above the clean tissue box and the disposal opening is positioned above the empty tissue box. 
     
     
         18 . The method of  claim 17 , further comprising:
 removing a clean tissue from the clean tissue box through the dispenser opening; and   discarding a used tissue into the empty tissue box through the disposal opening.   
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 18 , further comprising:
 accessing a sanitation product through an unobstructed opening in a storage compartment to sanitize after handling the used tissue, wherein the storage compartment is separated from the receptacle by a divider wall.   
     
     
         20 . The method of  claim 16 , further comprising positioning a handle of the tissue dispenser and disposal device around a head rest of a vehicle seat to hang the tissue dispenser and disposal device from the vehicle seat, wherein the handle is coupled to the housing.
