Claims

Abstract

A face mask assembly includes a mask that is wearable on a user’s face to protect the user from inhaling airborne pathogens. A nose strip is integrated into the face mask and the nose strip is comprised of a bendable material to conform to contours of the user’s face when the mask is worn. A scent patch is coupled to the mask and the scent patch is infused with a chemical scent thereby enhancing an odor of the mask. An antibacterial patch is coupled to the mask and the antibacterial patch is infused with a chemical disinfectant. The antibacterial patch releases the chemical disinfectant into air being inhaled by the user when the mask is worn thereby reducing airborne pathogen exposure for the user.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A face mask assembly for protecting a user from airborne pathogens, said assembly comprising:
 a mask being wearable on a user’s face wherein said mask is configured to protect the user from inhaling airborne pathogens;   a nose strip being integrated into said face mask, said nose strip being comprised of a bendable material wherein said nose strip is configured to be shaped to conform to contours of the user’s face when said mask is worn;   a pair of ear straps, each of said ear straps being coupled to said mask wherein each of said ear straps is configured to extend around a respective one of the user’s ears;   a scent patch being coupled to said mask, said scent patch being infused with a chemical scent wherein said scent patch is configured to release said chemical scent into air being inhaled by the user when said mask is worn thereby enhancing an odor of said mask; and   an antibacterial patch being coupled to said mask, said antibacterial patch being infused with a chemical disinfectant wherein said antibacterial patch is configured to release said chemical disinfectant into air being inhaled by the user when said mask is worn thereby reducing airborne pathogen exposure for the user.   
     
     
         2 . The assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 said mask has a front surface and a perimeter edge, said perimeter edge having a first lateral side, a second lateral side and a top side, said mask being comprised of a fluid permeable material wherein said mask is configured to facilitate the user to breathe when said mask is worn;   said nose strip is aligned with said top side of said perimeter edge of said mask, said nose strip being centrally positioned between said first lateral side and said second lateral side of said perimeter edge wherein said nose strip is configured to extend across the user’s nose when said mask is worn; and   each of said ear straps has a first end and a second end, each of said first end and said second end of each of said ear straps being coupled to a respective one of said first lateral side and said second lateral side of said perimeter edge of said mask such that each of said ear straps forms a closed loop.   
     
     
         3 . The assembly according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 said mask has a front surface and a perimeter edge, said perimeter edge having a first lateral side, a second lateral side and a top side, said mask being comprised of a fluid permeable material wherein said mask is configured to facilitate the user to breathe when said mask is worn; and   said scent patch has a first surface, a first sidelong edge and a second sidelong edge, said first surface being bonded to said front surface of said mask.   
     
     
         4 . The assembly according to  claim 3 , wherein said scent patch being centrally positioned between said first lateral side and said second lateral side of said perimeter edge. 
     
     
         5 . The assembly according to  claim 3 , wherein said scent patch is positioned adjacent to said top side of said perimeter edge wherein said scent patch is configured to be aligned with the user’s nose when said mask is worn. 
     
     
         6 . The assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 said mask has a front surface and a perimeter edge, said perimeter edge having a first lateral side, a second lateral side and a top side, said mask being comprised of a fluid permeable material wherein said mask is configured to facilitate the user to breathe when said mask is worn; and   said antibacterial patch has a primary surface, a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge, said primary surface being bonded to said front surface of said mask.   
     
     
         7 . The assembly according to  claim 6 , wherein said antibacterial patch is centrally positioned between said first lateral side and said second lateral side of said perimeter edge of said mask. 
     
     
         8 . The assembly according to  claim 5 , wherein said antibacterial patch is positioned below said scent patch wherein said antibacterial patch is configured to be aligned with the user’s mouth when said mask is worn. 
     
     
         9 . The assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 said scent patch has a first sidelong edge and a second sidelong edge, said scent patch being elongated between said first sidelong edge and said second sidelong edge; and   said antibacterial patch has a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge, said antibacterial patch being elongated between said first lateral edge and said second lateral edge to a length being greater than the length of said scent patch.   
     
     
         10 . A face mask assembly for protecting a user from airborne pathogens, said assembly comprising:
 a mask being wearable on a user’s face wherein said mask is configured to protect the user from inhaling airborne pathogens, said mask having a front surface and a perimeter edge, said perimeter edge having a first lateral side, a second lateral side and a top side, said mask being comprised of a fluid permeable material wherein said mask is configured to facilitate the user to breathe when said mask is worn;   a nose strip being integrated into said face mask, said nose strip being comprised of a bendable material wherein said nose strip is configured to be shaped to conform to contours of the user’s face when said mask is worn, said nose strip being aligned with said top side of said perimeter edge of said mask, said nose strip being centrally positioned between said first lateral side and said second lateral side of said perimeter edge wherein said nose strip is configured to extend across the user’s nose when said mask is worn;   a pair of ear straps, each of said ear straps being coupled to said mask wherein each of said ear straps is configured to extend around a respective one of the user’s ears, each of said ear straps having a first end and a second end, each of said first end and said second end of each of said ear straps being coupled to a respective one of said first lateral side and said second lateral side of said perimeter edge of said mask such that each of said ear straps forms a closed loop;   a scent patch being coupled to said mask, said scent patch being infused with a chemical scent wherein said scent patch is configured to release said chemical scent into air being inhaled by the user when said mask is worn thereby enhancing an odor of said mask, said scent patch having a first surface, a first sidelong edge and a second sidelong edge, said first surface being bonded to said front surface of said mask, said scent patch being centrally positioned between said first lateral side and said second lateral side of said perimeter edge, said scent patch being positioned adjacent to said top side of said perimeter edge wherein said scent patch is configured to be aligned with the user’s nose when said mask is worn, said scent patch being elongated between said first sidelong edge and said second sidelong edge;   an antibacterial patch being coupled to said mask, said antibacterial patch being infused with a chemical disinfectant wherein said antibacterial patch is configured to release said chemical disinfectant into air being inhaled by the user when said mask is worn thereby reducing airborne pathogen exposure for the user, said antibacterial patch having a primary surface, a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge, said primary surface being bonded to said front surface of said mask, said antibacterial patch being centrally positioned between said first lateral side and said second lateral side of said perimeter edge of said mask, said antibacterial patch being positioned below said scent patch wherein said antibacterial patch is configured to be aligned with the user’s mouth when said mask is worn, said antibacterial patch being elongated between said first lateral edge and said second lateral edge to a length being greater than the length of said scent patch; and   a bag containing said mask, said bag being comprised of a fluid impermeable material wherein said bag is configured to protect said mask from contamination, said bag being sealed around said mask for preserving sterility of said mask, said bag being torn open for removing said mask from said bag.
