Abstract
A molding is made from a first flooring plank. A first groove is formed into the first flooring plank with a first flat bottom surface. A second groove is formed into the first flooring plank with a second flat bottom surface. The first flooring plank is folded at the first groove and second groove. A second flooring plank is disposed adjacent to the molding. A color and pattern of the first flooring plank and second flooring plank match.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed:
1 . A stair nose molding, comprising:
a vinyl substrate including a first angle and second angle extending along a length of the vinyl substrate; an image layer disposed over the vinyl substrate; and a protection layer disposed over the image layer.
2 . The stair nose molding of claim 1 , wherein the first angle and second angle are each approximately 90-degrees.
3 . The stair nose molding of claim 1 , wherein the image layer extends across the first angle and second angle.
4 . The stair nose molding of claim 1 , wherein the first angle and second angle extend in parallel lines to each other.
5 . The stair nose molding of claim 1 , further including a wood grain pattern printed on the image layer.
6 . A stair nose molding, comprising:
a substrate including a first angle and second angle extending along a length of the substrate; and an image layer disposed over the substrate.
7 . The stair nose molding of claim 6 , wherein the first angle and second angle add up to approximately 180 degrees.
8 . The stair nose molding of claim 6 , wherein the image layer extends across the first angle.
9 . The stair nose molding of claim 6 , wherein the first angle and second angle extend in parallel lines to each other.
10 . The stair nose molding of claim 6 , further including a wood grain pattern printed on the image layer.
11 . A stair nose molding method, comprising:
providing a stair nose molding including a first angle and second angle extending along a length of the stair nose molding; cutting the stair nose molding to a length or width of a stair tread; and disposing the stair nose molding over the stair tread.
12 . The method of claim 11 , further including disposing the stair nose molding to surround a nose of the stair tread.
13 . The method of claim 11 , further including disposing an adhesive between the stair nose molding and stair tread.
14 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the stair nose molding includes:
a vinyl substrate; and an image layer disposed over the vinyl substrate.
15 . The method of claim 11 , further including disposing the stair nose molding with a portion of the stair nose molding under the stair tread.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
