Swagg-E Durag

Abstract

This invention is a hair styling product. It may also be used as a head covering. It is made of durable fabric possibly consisting of polyester, silk, satin, or other materials. This invention is a different type of durag or head covering. Swagg-E Durag will prevent indentations or impressions on forehead and back of neck area. The purpose of this invention is to be used as a hair styling product. It is meant to keep the style of the wearer's hair. If worn daily or almost daily, it encourages the hair to grow flat, wavy, and parallel to the scalp. Swagg-E Durag is an invention that improves upon the durags currently available. It is one size fits all and can be used to keep one's hair in the desired style while sleeping or going about daily activities. It may be used on any hair type, including natural and chemically processed.

Swagg-E Durag is a cloth with built in stretched strings adjacent to the scalp with built in headband(added on material) attached to the crown/body of the durag, while maintaining strings and a tail on the durag; the headband(added on material) gives it a stylish fashionable design and look appeal as well as providing protection and support from the strings. The headband (added on material) may consist of different types of fabrics and colors which may also contain some elasticity, as well as the durag. Swagg-E Durag can be used to cover and protect both the perimeter and hair for many styles including but not limited to waves, braids, haircuts, and shape ups for any gender, worn daily encourages the hair to maintain it's style and pattern of the individual's desire. May be worn on wet, damp, and dry hair, also can be worn while you are in water, in all types of weather or climate; it is washable.

One size fit all, can be worn with various hair lengths, styles and all hair textures; can be worn/styled in different ways, it's made up of multiple materials, comes in numerous colors. This innovative styled durag will truly make lives easier and hassle-free. This design is to eliminate any durag marks, dark lines, indentations, and/or excessive permanent discolored marks on forehead and back of neck area that may be caused by the strings of the durag, creating confidence on the go! It can be worn in different styles and or preferences, for best results use suggested style of wear as illustrated in Figures.
