Multipurpose tool for smoking devices

Abstract

A multi-purpose tool to assist in pipe smoking is provided. The tool comprises a body having a tamper on opposing ends and a poker protruding from the body in a radial direction. Each tamper is operable for packing tobacco into a bowl or other orifice for smoking. The poker is operable to clear any debris or aerate any tightly packed material or tobacco. The tampers and poker can take on a variety of shapes, sizes, and dimensions to accomplish their intended function.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A multi-purpose smoker tool comprising:
 a single, unitary body comprising a poker and a tamper,   wherein the poker is operable to aerate any tightly packed material.   
     
     
         2 . The multi-purpose smoker tool of  claim 1  wherein the body is defined by a top portion and a bottom portion, wherein the top portion comprises the tamper, and wherein the poker protrudes from the body between the top portion and the bottom portion. 
     
     
         3 . The multi-purpose smoker tool of  claim 2  wherein an exterior surface of the tamper is curvilinear. 
     
     
         4 . The multi-purpose smoker tool of  claim 2  wherein the bottom portion comprises a second tamper. 
     
     
         5 . The multi-purpose smoker tool of  claim 4  wherein an exterior surface of the second tamper is flat. 
     
     
         6 . The multi-purpose smoker tool of  claim 2  wherein the poker is conically shaped with a curvilinear base operable to provide an ergonomic landing for a user's fingers or extremities. 
     
     
         7 . The multi-purpose smoker tool of  claim 6 , wherein the poker comprises one or more edges disposed along an exterior surface of the poker, wherein the edges are operable to ream an interior chamber of a smoking pipe. 
     
     
         8 . The multi-purpose smoker tool of  claim 1  comprising attachment means for coupling the tool to an accessory. 
     
     
         9 . A multi-purpose smoker tool comprising:
 a single, unitary body defined by a top portion and a bottom portion, wherein the top portion comprises a tamper, wherein the bottom portion comprises a second tamper, and wherein a poker protrudes from the body between the top portion and the bottom portion,   wherein the poker is operable to aerate any tightly packed material.   
     
     
         10 . The multi-purpose smoker tool of  claim 9  wherein an exterior surface of either the tamper or second tamper is curvilinear. 
     
     
         11 . The multi-purpose smoker tool of  claim 9  wherein an exterior surface of either the tamper or second tamper is flat. 
     
     
         12 . The multi-purpose smoker tool of  claim 9  wherein the poker is conically shaped with a curvilinear base operable to provide an ergonomic landing for a user's fingers or extremities. 
     
     
         13 . The multi-purpose smoker tool of  claim 12 , wherein the poker comprises one or more edges disposed along an exterior surface of the poker, wherein the edges are operable to ream an interior chamber of a smoking pipe. 
     
     
         14 . The multi-purpose smoker tool of  claim 9  comprising attachment means for coupling the tool to an accessory. 
     
     
         15 . A multi-purpose smoker tool comprising:
 a single, unitary body defined by a top portion and a bottom portion, wherein the top portion comprises a tamper, wherein the bottom portion comprises a second tamper, and wherein a poker protrudes from the body between the top portion and the bottom portion,   wherein the poker is operable to aerate any tightly packed material,   wherein the poker is conically shaped with a curvilinear base operable to provide an ergonomic landing for a user's fingers or extremities,   wherein the poker comprises one or more edges disposed along an exterior surface of the poker, wherein the edges are operable to ream an interior chamber of a smoking pipe,   wherein an exterior surface the tamper is curvilinear,   wherein an exterior surface of the second tamper is flat, and   wherein the body comprises attachment means for coupling the tool to an accessory.
