Methods of Using C-Met Modulators

Abstract

Methods of treating cancer by administering a compound of Formula I,or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof, in combination with other cancer treatments are described, wherein R1 is halo; R2 is halo; and Q is CH or N.

         16 . A method of treating cancer, wherein the method comprises administering the compound: 
       
         
           
           
               
               
           
         
         or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, to a patient in need of the treatment, in combination with one or both of temozolomide (TMZ) and radiation, wherein the cancer is a glioma, a cancer of the small bowel, or a cancer of the large bowel, or a cancer of the uterus. 
       
     
     
         17 . The method according to  claim 16 , wherein the cancer is a glioma. 
     
     
         18 . The method according to  claim 16 , wherein the cancer is a cancer of the small bowel or a cancer of the large bowel. 
     
     
         19 . The method according to  claim 16 , wherein the cancer is a cancer of the uterus. 
     
     
         20 . The method according to  claim 16 , wherein the compound is administered as the (L)-malate salt as depicted in the following structure: 
       
         
           
           
               
               
           
         
       
     
     
         21 . The method according to  claim 16 , wherein the compound is administered as 10-200 mg dosages. 
     
     
         22 . The method according to  claim 16 , wherein TMZ is administered as 5-300 mg dosages. 
     
     
         23 . The method according to  claim 16 , wherein the compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is administered as a pharmaceutical composition further comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, excipient, or diluent. 
     
     
         24 . The method according to  claim 16 , comprising one or more additional treatments, wherein the one or more additional treatment(s) are selected from (1) surgery, (2) one or more additional chemotherapeutic agent(s), (3) one or more hormone therapy(s), (4) one or more antibody(s), (5) one or more immunotherapy(ies), and (6) radioactive iodine therapy.
