Abstract
The present invention relates generally methods and kits for detecting binding interactions, in particular protein-protein interactions, and particularly to high throughput methods for labelling, analysing, detecting and measuring protein-protein interactions.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 31 . (canceled)
32 . A kit for carrying out the method for determining a binding interaction between a binding agent and a target, said kit comprising
a) A binding agent library wherein each member of said binding agent library has predetermined protein binding characteristics and is associated with a known unique nucleotide sequence; and b) a set of at least two pairs of primers for linking the nucleotide sequences associated with the binding agent; and optionally instructions for use.
33 . (canceled)
34 . The kit as claimed in claim 32 wherein said binding agent library comprises an antibody library.
35 . The kit of claim 34 wherein said antibody library comprises an antibody display library or a library of antibodies wherein each antibody is labelled with said unique nucleotide sequence.
36 . The kit of claim 32 further comprising a target associated with a unique nucleotide sequence.
37 . The kit of claim 36 wherein said target comprises a protein.
38 . The kit of claim 32 further comprising a protein display library wherein each member of said library is associated with a unique nucleotide sequence.
39 . The kit of claim 38 , wherein said protein display library is a cDNA phage display library.
40 . The kit of claim 37 , wherein said protein is within a protein mixture.
41 . The kit of claim 40 , wherein said protein mixture is an enriched protein mixture.
42 . The kit of claim 40 , wherein said protein mixture is enriched for phosphoproteins, membrane proteins, and/or naturally or artificially modified proteins.
43 . The kit of claim 32 wherein said kit does not comprise any binding agents which bind to other binding agents in the binding agent library.
44 . The kit of claim 32 wherein the binding agent library is an enriched binding agent library.
45 . The kit of claim 37 wherein said protein is cross-linked to other proteins within a protein mixture.
46 . The kit of claim 35 , wherein the unique nucleotide sequence associated with each member of the antibody phage library is the nucleotide sequence within the phage encoding the CDR of said antibody.
47 . The kit of claim 39 wherein the unique nucleotide sequence associated with each member of the cDNA phage display library is the sequence within the phage encoding the displayed protein.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
