Abstract
Humidity-controlled containers are described. A humidity-controlled container can include a bottom container, a top lid configured to fit onto the bottom container, where at least a portion of the top lid is formed of a material a magnet is attracted to. The humidity-controlled container can also include a magnet and a container seal disposed where the top lid meets a top lip of the bottom container. The humidity-controlled container can further include a humidity pack that can be held in place against the top lid via the magnet.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A humidity-controlled container comprising:
a bottom container; a top lid configured to fit onto the bottom container, wherein at least a portion of the top lid is formed of a material a magnet is attracted to; a magnet; and a container seal disposed where the top lid meets a top lip of the bottom container.
2 . The humidity-controlled container of claim 1 , further comprising a replaceable humidity pack that is releasably secured to the top lid using the magnet.
3 . The humidity-controlled container of claim 2 , wherein the replaceable humidity pack includes a two-way replaceable humidity pack.
4 . The humidity-controlled container of claim 1 , wherein the magnet is a neodymium magnet.
5 . The humidity-controlled container of claim 1 , wherein the top lid is formed from a material such as a metal that the magnet is attracted to.
6 . The humidity-controlled container of claim 2 , wherein the top lid is formed from a nonmagnetic material and includes a magnetic portion affixed to an area of the top lid where the magnet will be attracted to such that the replaceable humidity pack can be releasably secured to the top lid.
7 . The humidity-controlled container of claim 1 , wherein the magnet is encased in silicone.
8 . The humidity-controlled container of claim 7 , wherein the silicone encasing the magnet is a food grade or food safe material.
9 . The humidity-controlled container of claim 1 , wherein the magnet is encased in a food grade or food safe material.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
