Abstract

A system for detecting presence of coronavirus in a subject, the system including a first pad for placing a first hand, the pad including a contact to measure conductance of the subject's body, a conductance meter connected to the contact, a second pad for placing a second hand, a source of electromagnetic radiation for irradiating the second pad.A system for detecting presence of coronavirus in a subject, the system including a chip with a plurality of wires disposed on or in the chip, a conductance meter arranged to measure conductance between the wires, and biological material associated with the coronavirus disposed on or in the chip.Related apparatus and methods are also described.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A system for detecting presence of coronavirus in a subject, the system comprising:
 a first pad for placing a first body part, the pad comprising a contact to measure conductance of the subject's body;   a conductance meter connected to the contact;   a second pad for placing a second body part;   a source of electromagnetic radiation for irradiating the second pad.   
     
     
         2 . The system according to  claim 1 , wherein the source of electromagnetic radiation comprises a source configured to irradiate at frequencies associated with the coronavirus. 
     
     
         3 . The system according to  claim 1 , wherein the system is configured to measure conductance of the subject's body by measuring conductance of the first body part. 
     
     
         4 . The system according to  claim 1 , wherein the system is configured to measure conductance of the subject's body by measuring conductance between the first body part and the second body part. 
     
     
         5 . The system according to  claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first pad and the second pad, are shaped and sized to locate the subject's body part so that the contacts in the pad a located next to a meridians of the subject's body part. 
     
     
         6 . The system according to  claim 1 , further comprising a processing unit for:
 instructing the source to irradiate the subject's body with the electromagnetic radiation at frequencies associated with the coronavirus;   providing a second value of conductance based on the conductance of the subject's body;   comparing the second value to a baseline value of conductance of a subject's body; and   producing instructions to present an alert that the subject's body carries the coronavirus when the second value deviates from the baseline value by more than a threshold amount.   
     
     
         7 . The system according to  claim 1 , wherein the irradiating comprises irradiating at one or more frequencies associated with the coronavirus. 
     
     
         8 . The system according to  claim 7 , wherein the frequencies are selected from a group consisting of:

         9 . The system according to  claim 1 , wherein the irradiating comprises irradiating at a plurality of frequencies associated with the coronavirus. 
     
     
         10 . The system according to  claim 9 , wherein the irradiating comprises irradiating at the plurality of frequencies simultaneously. 
     
     
         11 . The system according to  claim 1 , wherein the measuring the conductance of the subject's body comprises measuring conductance during the irradiating. 
     
     
         12 . The system according to  claim 1 , wherein the measuring the conductance of the subject's body comprises measuring conductance after the irradiating. 
     
     
         13 . The system according to  claim 6 , wherein the irradiating comprises irradiating one of the subject's first and second body parts, and the measuring the conductance of the subject's body comprises measuring conductance at the other one of the subject's first and second body parts. 
     
     
         14 . The system according to  claim 6 , wherein the irradiating comprises irradiating one of the subject's first and second body parts, and the measuring the conductance of the subject's body comprises measuring conductance at meridians of the subject's first and second body parts. 
     
     
         15 . The system according to  claim 6 , wherein the irradiating comprises irradiating one of the subject's first and second body parts, and the measuring the conductance of the subject's body comprises measuring conductance from an irradiated body part to another one of the subject's first and second body parts. 
     
     
         16 . The system according to  claim 6 , wherein the irradiating comprises irradiating one of the subject's first and second body parts, and the measuring the conductance of the subject's body comprises measuring conductance from at meridians of the subject's irradiated body part to at meridians of another one of the subject's first and second body parts. 
     
     
         17 . The system according to  claim 1 , wherein the conductance meter is mounted on a chip with a plurality of wires disposed on or in the chi and adapted to measure a biological material associated with the coronavirus disposed on or in the chip. 
     
     
         18 . The system according to  claim 17 , wherein the chip and the biological material are comprised in a reaction vessel configured to accept a fluid sample taken from a subject. 
     
     
         19 . The system according to  claim 6 , wherein the conductance meter is mounted on a chip with a plurality of wires disposed on or in the chi and adapted to measure a biological material associated with the coronavirus disposed on or in the chip; wherein the baseline value is of conductance between wires in the chip.
