Abstract

Systems and methods described herein include first and second devices including one or more processors and memory, the first device being configured to purchase one or more certificates by a first process via one or more blockchain transactions. The second device may be in communication with the first device, and may be redeem the one or more certificates received by a second process via one or more blockchain transactions. The second device may exchange one or more codes to designate the one or more certificates as used on the first device. The system may include one or more servers in communication with the second device, and may be automatically generate a message containing updated redemption information of the one or more certificates when the updated redemption information has been stored in one or more databases, which may be in communication with the one or more servers.

1 . A computer-readable non-transitory medium comprising computer-executable instructions that are executed on a processor and comprising the steps of:
 redeeming, by a second device including one or more processors and a memory, electronic currency received from a first device, the first device including one or more processors and a memory, by a process via one or more blockchain transactions, wherein the process is triggered by creation of an unsettled transaction and comprises an asynchronous process based on a plurality of states of connectivity; and   exchanging, by the second device, one or more codes to designate electronic currency as used on the first device.   
     
     
         2 . The computer-readable non-transitory medium of  claim 1 , wherein the first device is configured to purchase the electronic currency by a second process via one or more blockchain transactions. 
     
     
         3 . The computer-readable non-transitory medium of  claim 2 , wherein one or more of the first and second devices are configured to receive information about a plurality of states of the purchase. 
     
     
         4 . The computer-readable non-transitory medium of  claim 1 , wherein one or more servers in communication with the second device generate a message containing updated redemption information of the electronic currency when the updated redemption information has been stored in one or more databases, the or more databases in communication with one or more servers. 
     
     
         5 . The computer-readable non-transitory medium of  claim 4 , further comprising receiving, at the second device, the message containing the updated redemption information. 
     
     
         6 . The computer-readable non-transitory medium of  claim 4 , wherein the one or more servers further prohibit repeat redemption of the electronic currency. 
     
     
         7 . The computer-readable non-transitory medium of  claim 1 , wherein the second device is configured to redeem the electronic currency through an image, data entry, wireless, or wired communication, or any combination thereof. 
     
     
         8 . A computer-implemented method comprising:
 redeeming, by a second device including one or more processors and memory, electronic currency received from a first device, the first device including one or more processors and a memory, by a process via one or more blockchain transactions, wherein the process is triggered by creation of an unsettled transaction and comprises an asynchronous process based on a plurality of states of connectivity; and   exchanging, by the second device, one or more codes to designate electronic currency as used on the first device.   
     
     
         9 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 8 , wherein the first device is configured to purchase the electronic currency by a second process via one or more blockchain transactions. 
     
     
         10 . The computer-implemented method  claim 9 , wherein one or more of the first and second devices are configured to receive information about a plurality of states of the purchase.

The computer-implemented method of  claim 8 , wherein one or more servers in communication with the second device generate a message containing updated redemption information of the electronic currency when the updated redemption information has been stored in one or more databases, the or more databases in communication with one or more servers. 
     
     
         12 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 11 , further comprising receiving, at the second device, the message containing the updated redemption information. 
     
     
         13 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 11 , wherein the one or more servers further prohibit repeat redemption of the electronic currency. 
     
     
         14 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 8 , wherein the second device is configured to redeem the electronic currency through an image, data entry, wireless, or wired communication, or any combination thereof. 
     
     
         15 . A system comprising:
 a memory; and   one or more processors that redeems electronic currency received from a first device by a process via one or more blockchain transactions, wherein the process is triggered by creation of an unsettled transaction and comprises an asynchronous process based on a plurality of states of connectivity, and   exchanges one or more codes to designate electronic currency as used on the first device.   
     
     
         16 . The system of  claim 15 , wherein the first device is configured to purchase the electronic currency by a second process via one or more blockchain transactions. 
     
     
         17 . The system of  claim 16 , wherein one or more of the first device and the one or processors are configured to receive information about a plurality of states of the purchase. 
     
     
         18 . The system of  claim 15 , wherein one or more servers in communication with the processor generate a message containing updated redemption information of the electronic currency when the updated redemption information has been stored in one or more databases, the or more databases in communication with one or more servers. 
     
     
         19 . The system of  claim 18 , wherein the one or more processors further receive the message containing the updated redemption information. 
     
     
         20 . The system of  claim 18 , wherein the one or more servers further prohibit repeat redemption of the electronic currency. 
     
     
         21 . The system of  claim 15 , wherein the one or more processors redeem the electronic currency through an image, data entry, wireless, or wired communication, or any combination thereof.
