Camera accessory
Abstract
An accessory mount can be inserted through the camera body mount without any of the first through third tabs being hindered by any of three camera body-side tabs at the camera body mount, as long as the accessory mount is inserted into the camera body mount at a correct interlock phase. The first, second, and third tabs extend over varying lengths along the circumferential direction. The first tab extends over a greatest length and the third tab extends over a smallest length, along the circumferential direction. The accessory mount includes a restricting member, a fitting portion, and a lock pin hole. The restricting member is disposed at a position assumed on a side substantially opposite from the lock pin hole across the fitting portion.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An imaging apparatus that includes a mount to which an interchangeable lens is detachably mountable, the imaging apparatus comprising:
an image sensor having a rectangular shape; a reference surface (i) having a ring shape when viewed in an optical axis direction from a front side and (ii) being arranged to surround the image sensor when viewed in the optical axis direction from the front side; and a plurality of tabs (i) arranged along an inner circumference of an opening of the reference surface and (ii) projecting toward inside of the opening, wherein one tab among the plurality of tabs is disposed on a first line passing through a center of the opening and extending in a direction parallel to a long side of the image sensor, another tab of the plurality of tabs is disposed on a second line passing through the center of the opening and extending in a direction parallel to a short side of the image sensor, and a front side surface of each of the plurality of tabs is arranged nearer to the image sensor than a front side surface of the reference surface.
2 . The imaging apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein one end of each of the plurality of tabs has a tapered surface.
3 . The imaging apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein
all of the one tab disposed on the first line is located within one of two regions circumferentially divided by the second line.
4 . The imaging apparatus according to claim 3 , wherein all of the other tab disposed on the second line is located within one of two regions circumferentially divided by the first line.
5 . The imaging apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein
the one tab disposed on the first line has a smallest circumferential length, and the other tab disposed on the second line has a second smallest circumferential length.
6 . The imaging apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a plurality of circumferential spaces provided between the plurality of tabs along the inner circumference of the opening; and a pin that projects from the mount and toward the interchangeable lens when the interchangeable lens is attached to the imaging apparatus, wherein the pin is disposed on the first line.
7 . The imaging apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the center of the opening substantially coincides with a center of the image sensor.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
