Cryogenic Natural Skin Care Compositions and Corresponding Methods

Abstract

A skin treatment system is described comprising an applicator including a dispensing portion and a handle portion connected to the dispensing portion, a frozen skin treatment composition formed on the dispensing portion, the frozen skin treatment composition comprising a blend of plant-based components, a container, and a lid configured to be mounted to the container. The frozen skin treatment composition, the dispensing portion and the handle portion are stored inside the container and covered with the lid.

1 . A system comprising:
 an applicator including a dispensing portion and a handle portion connected to the dispensing portion,   a frozen skin treatment composition formed on the dispensing portion, the frozen skin treatment composition comprising a blend of plant-based components,   a container, and   a lid configured to be mounted to the container,   the frozen skin treatment composition, the dispensing portion and the handle portion being stored inside the container and covered with the lid.   
     
     
         2 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the applicator, container and lid are configured to allow for multiple separate applications of the frozen skin treatment composition, the frozen skin treatment composition melting upon contact with skin. 
     
     
         3 . The system of  claim 1 , where the frozen skin treatment composition is an emulsion of organic plant-based components. 
     
     
         4 . The system of  claim 1 , where the frozen skin treatment composition is flash frozen. 
     
     
         5 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the plant-based components include plant stem cells. 
     
     
         6 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the plant-based components include plant stem cells that were live prior to freezing. 
     
     
         7 . The system of  claim 1 , where the plant stem cells are live when the frozen skin treatment composition is thawed. 
     
     
         8 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the frozen skin treatment composition further comprises an exfoliating material selected from the group consisting of ground coffee, micronized fruit and wheatgrass pulp, wherein the exfoliating material has a texture that facilitates the removal of surface materials from the skin, including at least one of long-chain natural oils, dead skin cells and surface dirt. 
     
     
         9 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein at least one of the plant-based components comprises at least one of an exfoliant, a moisturizer and an emollient. 
     
     
         10 . The system of  claim 9 , wherein the exfoliant comprises at least one of micronized fruit pulp and micronized fruit seeds. 
     
     
         11 . The system of  claim 10 , wherein the micronized fruit pulp comprises watermelon pulp and the micronized fruit seeds comprise watermelon seeds. 
     
     
         12 . The system of  claim 10 , where the micronized fruit pulp comprises strawberry pulp and the micronized fruit seeds comprise strawberry seeds. 
     
     
         13 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the frozen skin treatment composition comprises at least two components selected from the group consisting of wheat grass juice, wheat grass pulp, shea butter, cocoa powder, rice flour, coffee, jojoba oil, hemp oil, castor oil, and sugarcane juice. 
     
     
         14 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the frozen skin treatment composition includes at least one member selected from the group consisting of fruits, vegetables, herbs, oils and butters. 
     
     
         15 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the frozen skin treatment composition includes at least one member selected from the group consisting of apple, cranberry, pomegranate, potato, watermelon, strawberry, lemon, cucumber, Aloe Vera, avocado, mango,  papaya , kiwi, banana, blueberry, blackberry, goji berries, grapes, cacao seeds, coffee seeds, raw turmeric, raw ginger, beets, raspberry, coconut, pineapple, mangosteen, peaches, cherries, orange, apricot, pumpkin, sweet potato, nectarine, raspberry, plum, grapefruit, fig, pear, blackcurrant, cantaloupe, carambola, date fruit, elderberry, guava, honeydew melon, jack fruit, plum, kumquat, lychee, mulberry, passion fruit, kale, spinach, celery, carrot, and pitaya. 
     
     
         16 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the handle portion of the applicator comprises at least one of cork and wood. 
     
     
         17 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein all parts of the applicator are formed from plant-based products. 
     
     
         18 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the frozen skin treatment composition is alcohol-free. 
     
     
         19 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the frozen skin treatment composition is cryopreserved. 
     
     
         20 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the frozen skin treatment composition is initially cryopreserved at a temperature in the range of 14° F. (−10° C.). to −109.3 degrees Fahrenheit (−78.5 degrees C.).
