Abstract
A robot cleaner comprising: a cleaner body including a controller, the cleaner body having a dust container accommodation part formed therein; a wheel unit mounted in the cleaner body, the wheel unit of which driving is controlled by the controller; and a dust container detachably coupled to the dust container accommodation part, wherein a first opening and a second opening are disposed at the same height in an inner wall of the dust container accommodation part, wherein the dust container includes: an entrance and an exit, disposed side by side along the circumference of the dust container, the entrance and the exit, respectively communicating with the first opening and the second opening when the dust container is accommodated in the dust container accommodation part; and a flow separating part extending downwardly inclined along the inner circumference of the dust container.

a cleaner body including a wheel unit and a controller controlling driving of the wheel unit; a cleaner head disposed in a shape protruding from one side of the cleaner body; a dust container detachably coupled to the cleaner body, the dust container collecting dust filtered from the air introduced into the cleaner body; and a cover member disposed to cover a portion an empty space formed at the rear of the cleaner head.
2 . The robot cleaner of claim 1 , wherein the empty space is formed between the cleaner body and cleaner head, and the cover member disposed to cover at least a portion of the empty space.
3 . The robot cleaner of claim 2 , wherein at least a portion of the cleaner body has an arc shape.
4 . The robot cleaner of claim 3 , wherein the cleaner body is formed in a circular shape.
5 . The robot cleaner of claim 2 , wherein the cleaner head has a shape protruding leftward and rightward at the one side of the cleaner body.
6 . The robot cleaner of claim 2 , wherein cover member is disposed to cover at least one portion of left and right outer circumferential surfaces of the cleaner body, which are formed as curved surfaces and recessed to inside between both left and right end portions of the cleaner head.
7 . The robot cleaner of claim 2 , wherein the cleaner body includes a front portion connected to the cleaner head, and the empty space has a shape recessed inward at a position where the cleaner body and the cleaner head connect.
8 . The robot cleaner of claim 2 , wherein the cover member is provided to the cleaner body or the cleaner head.
9 . The robot cleaner of claim 8 , wherein the cover member is formed to protrude from the cleaner body and is supported by a rear surface portion of the cleaner head.
10 . The robot cleaner of claim 8 , wherein cleaner head is detachably coupled to the cleaner body, and
the cover member is disposed to cover the outer circumferential surface of the cleaner body, so that a relative position of the cleaner head with respect to the cleaner body is determined.
11 . The robot cleaner of claim 1 , wherein the empty space is disposed between both left and right end portions of the cleaner body and both left and right end portion of the cleaner head.
12 . The robot cleaner of claim 1 , wherein the cover member is formed to protrude from both sides of the rear end portion of the cleaner head to cover outer circumferential surfaces of the cleaner body.
13 . The robot cleaner of claim 1 , wherein the wheel unit includes main wheels provided on both sides of the cleaner body, and the cover member is disposed in front of an reference line connecting the centers of the main wheels.
14 . The robot cleaner of claim 1 , wherein the cleaner head includes a case forming an appearance of the cleaner head and a bumper switch sensing the physical collision.
15 . The robot cleaner of claim 14 , further comprising a brush roller provided in the cleaner head,
wherein the case includes a main case part and a cover case part configured to open and close an opening formed at one side of the main case part, so that the brush roller built in the main case part is withdrawn to the outside.
16 . The robot cleaner of claim 15 , wherein the cleaner head includes a manipulation part through which locking of the cover case part to the main case part is released.
17 . The robot cleaner of claim 16 , wherein an elastic member elastically pressurizes the brush roller inside the other side of the main case.
18 . The robot cleaner of any one of claims 1 , wherein the cleaner head includes an inclined part upwardly inclined with respect to the floor and formed at the front end portion of the lower side of the cleaner head.
19 . The robot cleaner of any one of claims 18 , further comprising a cliff sensor sensing topography thereunder and installed at the inclined part to face the floor.
