Abstract

A fire pit cover includes a cap body, a bottom sleeve, a first high-temperature thread, a second high-temperature thread, a weighted ring, and a pair of handles. The cap body includes a flat top portion and an annular lateral portion. The flat top portion, the annular lateral portion, the bottom sleeve, and the pair of handles is made of a silica-glass-fabric material to withstand high temperature of the fire pit/stove. A top end of the annular lateral portion is perimetrically hermetically connected around the flat top portion to the flat top portion through the first high-temperature thread. The bottom sleeve is perimetrically positioned around a bottom end of the annular lateral portion and hermetically connected to the annular lateral portion through the second high-temperature thread. The weighted ring is enclosed within the bottom sleeve. The pair of handles is laterally connected to the annular lateral portion.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A fire pit cover comprising:
 a cap body;   a bottom sleeve;   a first high-temperature thread;   a second high-temperature thread;   a weighted ring;   a pair of handles;   the cap body comprising a flat top portion and an annular lateral portion;   the flat top portion, the annular lateral portion, the bottom sleeve, and the pair of handles being made of a silica-glass-fabric material;   a top end of the annular lateral portion being perimetrically positioned around the flat top portion;   the annular lateral portion being hermetically connected to the flat top portion through the first high-temperature thread;   the bottom sleeve being perimetrically positioned around a bottom end of the annular lateral portion;   the bottom sleeve being hermetically connected to the annular lateral portion through the second high-temperature thread;   the weighted ring being enclosed within the bottom sleeve; and   the pair of handles being laterally connected to the annular lateral portion.   
     
     
         2 . The fire pit cover as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the silica-glass-fabric material is composed of 1100 grams per square meter (GSM) of silica glass. 
     
     
         3 . The fire pit cover as claimed in  claim 1  comprising:
 a first silicone coating; 
 the first silicone coating being superimposed across the flat top portion; 
 the first silicone coating and the flat top portion being positioned coextensive with each other; and 
 the first silicone coating being positioned external to the flat top portion. 
 
     
     
         4 . The fire pit cover as claimed in  claim 3  comprising:
 the first silicone coating being made of 225 GSM of silica glass; and 
 the first silicone coating being able to absorb up to 550 degrees of Fahrenheit. 
 
     
     
         5 . The fire pit cover as claimed in  claim 1  comprising:
 a second silicone coating; 
 the second silicone coating being superimposed across the annular lateral portion; 
 the second silicone coating and the annular lateral portion being positioned coextensive with each other; and 
 the second silicone coating being positioned external to the annular lateral portion. 
 
     
     
         6 . The fire pit cover as claimed in  claim 5  comprising:
 the second silicone coating being made of 225 GSM of silica glass; and 
 the second silicone coating being able to absorb up to 550 degrees of Fahrenheit. 
 
     
     
         7 . The fire pit cover as claimed in  claim 1  comprising:
 a third silicone coating; 
 the third silicone coating being superimposed across the bottom sleeve; 
 the third silicone coating and the bottom sleeve being positioned coextensive with each other; and 
 the third silicone coating being positioned external to the bottom sleeve. 
 
     
     
         8 . The fire pit cover as claimed in  claim 7  comprising:
 the third silicone coating being made of 225 GSM of silica glass; and 
 the third silicone coating being able to absorb up to 550 degrees of Fahrenheit. 
 
     
     
         9 . The fire pit cover as claimed in  claim 1  comprising:
 the pair of handles comprising a first handle and a second handle; 
 the first handle and the second handle being positioned adjacent to the top end; and 
 the first handle and the second handle being diametrically opposed of each other about the flat top portion. 
 
     
     
         10 . The fire pit cover as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the cap body and the bottom sleeve are able to resist ultraviolet light. 
     
     
         11 . The fire pit cover as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the cap body and the bottom sleeve are able absorb up to 2000 degrees of Fahrenheit. 
     
     
         12 . The fire pit cover as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the first high-temperature thread is able absorb up to 800 degrees of Fahrenheit. 
     
     
         13 . The fire pit cover as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the second high-temperature thread is able absorb up to 800 degrees of Fahrenheit. 
     
     
         14 . The fire pit cover as claimed in  claim 1  comprising:
 a structural frame; 
 the structural frame being internally positioned within the cap body; and 
 the structural frame being removably mounted to the flat top portion. 
 
     
     
         15 . The fire pit cover as claimed in  claim 14  comprising:
 the structural frame comprising a connector hub, a first inclined-arm, a second inclined-arm, a third inclined-arm, and a fourth inclined-arm; 
 the cap body further comprising a first sleeve, a second sleeve, a third sleeve, and a fourth sleeve; 
 the first inclined-arm, the second inclined-arm, the third inclined-arm, and the fourth inclined-arm being rotatably connected to the connector hub; 
 the first sleeve, the second sleeve, the third sleeve, and the fourth sleeve being radially positioned adjacent to the annular lateral portion; 
 the first sleeve, the second sleeve, the third sleeve, and the fourth sleeve being internally connected to the flat top portion; 
 the first sleeve and the second sleeve being diametrically opposed of each other about the flat top portion; 
 the third sleeve and the fourth sleeve being diametrically opposed of each other about the flat top portion; 
 the first sleeve being perpendicular positioned to the third sleeve about the flat top portion; 
 the connector hub being concentrically positioned to the flat top portion; 
 a free end of the first inclined-arm being removably engaged within the first sleeve; 
 a free end of the second inclined-arm being removably engaged within the second sleeve; 
 a free end of the third inclined-arm being removably engaged within the third sleeve; and 
 a free end of the fourth inclined-arm being removably engaged within the fourth sleeve.
