Abstract

A system, method, and computer-readable media are described for communicating with a mobile application that is downloaded onto a user device, the mobile application providing an electronic icon for an offer associated with a vendor. An activated electronic icon is provided for local storage at the user device through the mobile application, where the activated electronic icon is accessible after receiving user login credentials, and where the activated electronic icon corresponds to a browser-based activated electronic icon that is accessible on a first website via a web-browser. The activated electronic icon is deactivated, via the mobile application, based on confirming a utilization of the offer associated with the vendor. Access to the browser-based activated electronic icon is modified based on the deactivation of the activated electronic icon via the mobile application.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A computer-implemented method comprising:
 communicating with an application that is downloaded onto a user device, the application providing an electronic icon for an offer associated with a vendor; providing an activated electronic icon for local storage at the user device through the application, wherein the activated electronic icon is accessible after receiving user login credentials, and wherein the activated electronic icon corresponds to a browser-based activated electronic icon that is accessible on a first website via a web-browser; deactivating, via the application, the activated electronic icon based on confirming a utilization of the offer associated with the vendor; and modifying access to the browser-based activated electronic icon based on the deactivation of the activated electronic icon via the application.

         2 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the application may be downloaded based on providing an identifier on a second website that directs the user device to an application store to download the application.

         3 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the activated electronic icon is provided for display via the application based on location data provided by the user device.

         4 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the activated electronic icon comprises a link to details about the offer.

         5 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the activated electronic icon is deactivated based on receiving a vendor authentication code via the application.

         6 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the application includes a search bar for searching for the vendor.

         7 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the electronic icon is activated based on determining a user has provided payment.

         8 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein visually modifying the browser-based activated electronic icon comprises removing the browser-based activated electronic icon from a list of activated electronic icons that are available through the first website.

         9 . One or more non-transitory computer-readable media having computer-executable instructions embodied thereon for performing a method comprising:
 communicating with an application that is downloaded onto a user device, the application providing an electronic icon for an offer associated with a vendor; providing access to an activated electronic icon that is stored at the user device via the application after receiving user login credentials, the activated electronic icon corresponding to a browser-based activated electronic icon that is accessible on a first website via a web-browser; deactivating, via the application, the activated electronic icon based on confirming a utilization of the offer associated with the vendor; and modifying access to the browser-based activated electronic icon based on the deactivation of the activated electronic icon via the application.

         10 . The media of claim 9 , wherein the application may be downloaded based on providing an identifier via a second website that directs the user device to an application store to download the application.

         11 . The media of claim 9 , wherein the activated electronic icon is provided for display via the application based on location data provided by the user device.

         12 . The media of claim 9 , wherein the activated electronic icon comprises a link to details about the offer.

         13 . The media of claim 9 , wherein the activated electronic icon is deactivated based on receiving a vendor authentication code via the application.

         14 . The media of claim 9 , wherein the application includes a search bar for searching for the vendor.

         15 . The media of claim 9 , wherein the electronic icon is activated based on determining a user has provided payment.

         16 . The media of claim 9 , wherein modifying access to the browser-based activated electronic icon comprises removing the browser-based activated electronic icon from a list of activated electronic icons that are available through the first website.

         17 . A system comprising:
 one or more computing devices; and a memory coupled to the one or more computing devices and storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more computing devices, cause the system to perform operations:
 communicating with an application that is downloaded onto a user device, the application providing an electronic icon for an offer associated with a vendor;
 providing access to an activated electronic icon that is stored at the user device via the application after receiving user login credentials, the activated electronic icon corresponding to a browser-based activated electronic icon that is accessible on a first website via a web-browser;
 deactivating, via the application, the activated electronic icon based on confirming a utilization of the offer associated with the vendor; and
 modifying access to the browser-based activated electronic icon based on the deactivation of the activated electronic icon via the application.

         18 . The system of claim 17 , wherein the activated electronic icon is deactivated based on receiving a vendor authentication code via the application.

         19 . The system of claim 17 , wherein the activated electronic icon is provided for display via the application based on location data provided by the user device.

         20 . The system of claim 17 , wherein the activated electronic icon comprises a link to details about the offer.
