Claims

Abstract

Embodiments of the invention make consumer application adoption more efficient by giving suppliers access to the desired target audience by displaying the applications to the right audience. Suppliers can provide criteria for the kinds of users they are looking to target using constraints. Embodiments of the invention enable viewers that match the constraints to see the service. The user gets to see an automatically generated application set, that is instantly available, with a high probability of containing the application the user is likely to seek. Identity and Payment support are built into the platform, such that the user no longer needs to register with each application or set up payment with each application. In addition, the platform reduces bandwidth consumption, storage front print, and power consumption of the user device by choosing when and which modules to download to the user device.

1 . A method comprising:
 causing display of a plurality of application indications to a user on a mobile device associated with the user, the mobile device including a mobile processor and a memory;   determining a first user attribute based on a user’s online activity with said mobile device, a user’s location, or a second user attribute received from a provider of an application;   automatically adding an application indication associated with the application to the plurality of application indications to present to the user for display on the mobile device associated with the user, the application indication selected based on the first user attribute; and   downloading the application to the mobile device by: 
 decoupling viewability of the application indication on the mobile device associated with the user and availability of the application for execution on the mobile device associated with the user by creating a first list including the plurality of application indications to present to the user for display on the mobile device associated with the user that comprise available applications, and creating a second list including a plurality of applications that have been downloaded to the mobile device associated with the user; and 
 based on any of the first user attribute, the second user attribute received from the provider of the application, or the user’s location, automatically removing the application indication from the first list, wherein the application indication is no longer displayed to the user on the mobile device, while maintaining at least a portion of the application associated with the application indication downloaded on the mobile device. 
   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 reducing a storage footprint of the application by dividing the application into a plurality of modules needed for executing the application, downloading a first subset of the plurality of modules to the mobile device associated with the user and storing a second subset of the plurality of modules on a device associated with the provider of the application.   
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 2 , wherein a first module of the first subset of the plurality of modules requires less computation power than a second module of the second subset of the plurality of modules. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 dynamically updating the plurality of application indications or the plurality of applications that have been downloaded to the mobile device based on changes in the user’s online activity or changes in the user’s location.   
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 initializing the plurality of application indications based on inferred user attributes, the inferred user attributes determined by an artificial intelligence model based on searched hashtags, the user’s location, or applications used by other users.   
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 removing a downloaded application from the mobile device; and   maintaining an application indication associated with the downloaded application in the plurality of application indications displayed on the mobile device.   
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 authenticating the user;   receiving a request for authentication from the application associated with the application indication in the plurality of application indications; and   upon receiving the request, authenticating the user with the application without requiring a user input into the application.   
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the first user attribute or the second user attribute include an age, a gender, a belief, a viewpoint, a lifestyle, an income, or a time of day. 
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of applications that have been downloaded to the mobile device includes a previous application associated with a previous application indication that has been removed from the plurality of application indications. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of application indications includes a visible application indication associated with an application that is has been removed from the plurality of applications that have been downloaded to the mobile device. 
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein determining the first user attribute includes:
 tracking a search, a click, a hashtag, or a movement associated with the user; and   identifying, by an artificial intelligence, the first user attribute based on the search, the click, the hashtag or the movement.   
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 obtaining, from the user, a selection of a plurality of products to purchase associated with a plurality of applications represented by at least a portion of the plurality of application indications;   receiving an instruction from the user to purchase the plurality of products; and   purchasing the plurality of products by completing a plurality of transactions with the plurality of applications, without requesting a separate authorization from the user for each transaction in the plurality of transactions.   
     
     
         13 . A mobile device comprising a processor and a memory storing instructions, execution of which by the processor causes the mobile device to:
 display a plurality of application indications to a user associated with the mobile device;   automatically add an application indication associated with an application to the plurality of application indications, wherein the application indication is selected based on a first user attribute, and wherein the first user attribute is determined based on a user’s online activity with said mobile device, a user’s location, or a second user attribute from a provider of the application;   download the application to the mobile device, 
 wherein viewability of the application indication on the mobile device associated with the user and availability of the application for execution on the mobile device associated with the user are decoupled according to: 
 (1) a first list including the plurality of application indications to present to the user for display on the mobile device associated with the user that comprise available applications, and 
 (2) a second list including a plurality of applications that have been downloaded to the mobile device associated with the user; and based on any of the first user attribute, the second user attribute, or the user’s location, 
 
 automatically remove the application indication from the first list, wherein the application indication is no longer displayed to the user on the mobile device, while maintaining at least a portion of the application associated with the application indication downloaded on the mobile device. 
   
     
     
         14 . The mobile device of  claim 13 , wherein the plurality of application indications are displayed on a the mobile device within a mobile application on a website. 
     
     
         15 . The mobile device of  claim 13 , wherein a storage footprint of the application is reduced by dividing the application into a plurality of modules needed for executing the application, wherein a first subset of the plurality of modules is downloaded to the mobile device and wherein a second subset of the plurality of modules is stored on a device associated with the provider of the application. 
     
     
         16 . The mobile device of  claim 13 , wherein the mobile device is further caused to:
 dynamically update the plurality of application indications or the plurality of applications that have been downloaded to the mobile device based on changes in the user’s online activity or changes in the user’s location.   
     
     
         17 . The mobile device of  claim 13 , wherein the plurality of application indications is initialized based on inferred user attributes, the inferred user attributes determined by an artificial intelligence model based on searched hashtags, the user’s location, or applications used by other users. 
     
     
         18 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions, execution of which by a processor of a computing system causes the computing system to perform operations comprising:
 causing display of a plurality of application indications to a user on a mobile device associated with the user, the mobile device including a mobile processor and a memory;   determining a first user attribute based on a user’s online activity with said mobile device, a user’s location, or a second user attribute received from a provider of an application;   automatically adding an application indication associated with the application to the plurality of application indications to present to the user for display on the mobile device associated with the user, the application indication selected based on the first user attribute;   downloading the application to the mobile device by:
 decoupling viewability of the application indication on the mobile device associated with the user and availability of the application for execution on the mobile device associated with the user by creating a first list including the plurality of application indications to present to the user for display on the mobile device associated with the user that comprise available applications, and creating a second list including a plurality of applications that have been downloaded to the mobile device associated with the user; and 
 based on any of the first user attribute, the second user attribute received from the provider of the application, or the user’s location, automatically removing the application indication from the first list, wherein the application indication is no longer displayed to the user on the mobile device, while maintaining at least a portion of the application associated with the application indication downloaded on the mobile device; and 
   dynamically updating the plurality of application indications and the plurality of applications that have been downloaded to the mobile device based on the first user attribute, the second user attribute, or user’s location.   
     
     
         19 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of  claim 18 , wherein the operations further comprise:
 dividing the application into a plurality of modules needed for executing the application, downloading a first subset of the plurality of modules to the mobile device associated with the user and storing a second subset of the plurality of modules on a device associated with the provider of the application.   
     
     
         20 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of  claim 18 , wherein determining the first user attribute includes:
 tracking a search, a click, a hashtag, or a movement associated with the user; and   identifying, by an artificial intelligence, the first user attribute based on the search, the click, the hashtag or the movement.
