Abstract

Methods of manufacturing vegetable powders and/or vegetable compositions are described herein.

         21 . A vegetable powder comprising
 kale having a particle size ranging from about 10 to about 900 microns and including a pesticide in an amount which less than about 2% of acceptable EPA tolerances.   
     
     
         22 . The vegetable powder of  claim 21 , wherein the pesticide is selected from the group consisting of azoxystrobin, bifethrin, dacthal, and combination thereof. 
     
     
         23 . The vegetable powder of  claim 21 , wherein the pesticide is in an amount which is less than 1% of the acceptable EPA tolerances. 
     
     
         24 . The vegetable powder of  claim 21 , wherein the particle size ranges from about 50 to 300 microns. 
     
     
         25 . The vegetable powder of  claim 21 , wherein the kale is the only vegetable in the vegetable powder. 
     
     
         26 . The vegetable powder of  claim 21 , wherein the vegetable powder further comprises spinach. 
     
     
         27 . The vegetable powder of  claim 21 , wherein the vegetable powder includes at least 90% of nutrients of a whole leaf of kale. 
     
     
         28 . The vegetable powder of  claim 21 , wherein the vegetable powder includes at least 900% of the flavanoids of a whole leaf of kale. 
     
     
         29 . The vegetable powder of  claim 21 , further comprising at least one additional agent. 
     
     
         30 . The vegetable powder of  claim 29 , wherein the at least one additional agent is at least one of a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, a therapeutic agent, an optional ingredient, a food-related product, health/beauty aid, and combinations thereof.
