Abstract

Systems and methods for dynamically creating collaborative teams and managing collaborative work of a team are generally disclosed herein. One example embodiment includes the dynamic creation of a collaborative team by creating an association between team members via a managing module. The managing module may be capable of managing, among other things, team members on a team, tasks and goals of each member of the team, as well as documentation associated with the team. In some embodiments, the managing module may use a chat or messaging protocol to manage collaborative modifications to documents of the team.

         56 . The at least one memory of claim 53 , wherein the application is a presentation application.

         57 . An apparatus comprising:
 memory; instructions; and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to cause the at least one processor to at least:
 provide interface instructions to a user device, the interface instructions to cause the user device to present a user interface, the interface instructions implemented using hypertext markup language (HTML);
 access a request to create a team, the request associated with a user interaction with the user interface presented at the user device;
 record properties of the team including members of the team and a name for the team;
 record an association between at least one document and the team, the at least one document accessible to the team members via the user interface.

         58 . The apparatus of claim 57 , wherein the processor circuitry is to cause the user device to present a chat interface.

         59 . The apparatus of claim 58 , wherein the chat interface is to enable communication among members of the team using a messaging protocol.

         60 . The apparatus of claim 57 , wherein the processor circuitry is to cause the user device to present an application.

         61 . The apparatus of claim 60 , wherein the application is a spreadsheet application.

         62 . The apparatus of claim 60 , wherein the application is a word processing application.

         63 . The apparatus of claim 60 , wherein the application is a presentation application.

         64 . A method comprising:
 providing interface instructions to a user device, the interface instructions to cause the user device to present a user interface, the interface instructions implemented using hypertext markup language (HTML); processing a request to create a team, the request associated with a user interaction with the user interface presented at the user device; defining properties of the team including members of the team and a name for the team; associating at least one document with the team, the at least one document accessible to the team members via the user interface.

         65 . The method of claim 64 , wherein the interface instructions are to cause the user device to present a chat interface.

         66 . The method of claim 65 , wherein the chat interface is to enable communication among members of the team using a messaging protocol.

         67 . The method of claim 64 , wherein the interface instructions are to cause the user device to present an application.

         68 . The method of claim 67 , wherein the application is a spreadsheet application.

         69 . The method of claim 67 , wherein the application is a word processing application.

         70 . The method of claim 67 , wherein the application is a presentation application.

         71 . At least one memory comprising instructions to cause at least one processor to at least:
 cause presentation of a user interface based on interface instructions, the interface instructions implemented using hypertext markup language (HTML); cause transmission of a request to create a team to a server via a network, the request responsive to a user interaction with the user interface; cause transmission of properties of the team to the server, the properties associated with identities of members of the team and a name for the team; cause transmission of at least one document to the server for association with the team, the at least one document accessible to the team members via the user interface.
