Combination Weapon Holster Device
Abstract
The present invention relates generally to the field of weapon holsters. More specifically, the present invention relates to a combination weapon holster device primarily comprised of a holster body with a first opening, a second opening, and a divider wall in addition to a retention assembly within the holster body. The first opening of the holster body preferably receives a pistol. The second opening of the holster body preferably receives a stun gun. The retention assembly engages the pistol within the holster body when a stun gun is inserted into the body after a pistol. When a stun gun is holstered within the body, the retention assembly does not allow the pistol to be drawn from the body unless the stun gun is fully removed from the body or partially removed such that the retention assembly is disengaged.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A combination weapon holster device comprising:
a holster body comprised of a first opening that is sized and configured to receive a pistol, a second opening that is sized and configured to receive a stun gun, and a divider wall; and a retention assembly.
2 . The combination weapon holster device of claim 1 , wherein a sight post clip of the retention assembly engages a front sight post of the pistol.
3 . The combination weapon holster device of claim 1 , wherein a stun gun retention clip of the retention assembly engages the stun gun.
4 . The combination weapon holster device of claim 3 , wherein the retention assembly retains the pistol within the holster body until the stun gun disengages the stun gun retention clip.
5 . The combination weapon holster device of claim 1 , wherein the holster body is comprised of a deformable material.
6 . A combination weapon holster device comprising:
a holster body comprised of a first opening that is sized and configured to receive a pistol, a second opening that is sized and configured to receive a stun gun, and a divider wall having an opening; and a retention assembly comprised of a sight post clip, a shaft, a spring and a stun gun retention clip.
7 . The combination weapon holster device of claim 6 , wherein the holster body is manufactured from a leather material or a plastic material.
8 . The combination weapon holster device of claim 6 , wherein the holster body is comprised of a rigid material.
9 . The combination weapon holster device of claim 6 , wherein the holster body is further comprised of a retention strap.
10 . The combination weapon holster device of claim 6 , wherein a sight post clip of the retention assembly engages a front sight post of the pistol.
11 . The combination weapon holster device of claim 6 , wherein the stun gun retention clip of the retention assembly engages the stun gun.
12 . The combination weapon holster device of claim 11 , wherein the retention assembly retains the pistol within the holster body until the stun gun disengages the stun gun retention clip.
13 . A method of using a combination weapon holster device, the method comprising the steps of:
inserting a pistol into a holster body of the combination weapon holster device via a first opening of the holster body; inserting a stun gun into the holster body of the combination weapon holster device via a second opening of the holster body; removing the stun gun fully or partially from the second opening of the holster body such that the stun gun disengages a retention assembly; and removing the pistol from the holster body.
14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the retention assembly is comprised of a sight post clip, a shaft, a spring and a stun gun retention clip.
15 . The method of claim 14 , wherein, after the stun gun is inserted into the holster body, the stun gun presses against the stun gun retention clip.
16 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the pressing causes the stun gun retention clip to push the shaft against the spring through an opening in a divider wall of the holster body such that the sight post clip engages a front sight post of the pistol.
17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the pistol cannot be removed from the holster body until the stun gun is fully or partially removed from the holster body.
18 . The method of claim 17 , wherein removing the stun gun fully or partially from the holster body disengages the retention assembly from the pistol.
19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the pistol can be removed from the body when the holster body disengages the retention assembly from the pistol.
20 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the method prevents the pistol from accidently being removed from the holster body when a user intends to remove the stun gun from the holster body.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
