Product-Shipping Assembly

Abstract

Product-shipping assembly containing a plurality of water-soluble articles are provided.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A product-shipping assembly suitable for e-commerce comprising a shipping container including a plurality of water-soluble articles, wherein the shipping container further comprises at least one divider to separate the plurality of water-soluble articles within the shipping container, wherein the product-shipping assembly is substantially dunnage free, wherein the plurality of water-soluble articles comprise a plurality of fibrous elements comprising one or more filament-forming materials and one or more active agents releasable from the plurality of fibrous elements, wherein the plurality of water-soluble articles comprise one or more particles and wherein at least one of the plurality of water-soluble articles has:
 i. a width from about 1 cm to about 11 cm;   ii. a length from about 1 cm to about 20 cm;   iii. a height from about 0.01 mm to about 50 mm; and   iv. a density from about 0.05 g/cm 3  to about 0.8 g/cm 3 .   
     
     
         2 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the shipping container comprises an internal volume sized to removably contain the plurality of water-soluble articles. 
     
     
         3 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 2  wherein a ratio of a volume of the plurality of water-soluble articles to the internal volume of the shipping container is about 0.8 or greater. 
     
     
         4 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the shipping container comprises a support member. 
     
     
         5 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the at least one divider separates the plurality of water-soluble articles into two or more compartments. 
     
     
         6 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the product-shipping assembly further comprises one or more overwraps. 
     
     
         7 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the product-shipping assembly is void of an overwrap. 
     
     
         8 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the product-shipping assembly further comprises a barrier selected from the group consisting of: a humidity barrier, a liquid barrier, a water barrier, a scent barrier and mixtures thereof. 
     
     
         9 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the product-shipping assembly is void of a water impermeable barrier and a water vapor resistant barrier. 
     
     
         10 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the shipping container further comprises a protective coating. 
     
     
         11 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the shipping container is void of a protective coating. 
     
     
         12 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the product-shipping assembly further comprises a vent. 
     
     
         13 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the product-shipping assembly further comprises a box. 
     
     
         14 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the shipping container further comprises a box. 
     
     
         15 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the product-shipping assembly further comprises a carton. 
     
     
         16 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the shipping container further comprises a carton. 
     
     
         17 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the product-shipping assembly further comprises a bag. 
     
     
         18 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the shipping container further comprises a bag. 
     
     
         19 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the shipping container further comprises a box having one or more of the following dimensions: a width of about 6 inches or less, a length of about 10 inches or less, a height of about 1.75 inches or less and mixtures thereof. 
     
     
         20 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the product-shipping assembly further comprises a water scavenging material. 
     
     
         21 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the plurality of water-soluble articles comprises at least 2 water-soluble articles to about 144 water-soluble articles. 
     
     
         22 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the plurality of water-soluble articles are present in the product-shipping assembly in the form of one or more stacks. 
     
     
         23 . The product-shipping assembly according to  claim 1  wherein the plurality of water-soluble articles are present in the shipping container in the form of one or more stacks.
