Abstract

A method of topically applying a composition to skin is disclosed. The composition can include an acai berry fruit extract, water, glycerin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, dimethicone, tocopheryl acetate, carbomer, and citric acid.

1 . A method comprising topically applying a composition to skin, the composition comprising:
 an acai berry fruit extract;   water;   glycerin;   caprylic/capric triglyceride;   cetyl alcohol;   glyceryl stearate;   dimethicone;   tocopheryl acetate;   carbomer; and   citric acid.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the composition is an emulsion. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 2 , wherein the emulsion is an oil-in-water emulsion. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the composition is a lotion. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the composition is a cream. 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the composition is applied to a fine line or wrinkle. 
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the composition is applied to inflamed skin. 
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the composition is applied to an age spot. 
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the composition is applied to skin having an uneven skin tone. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the acai berry fruit extract comprises water or alcohol. 
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the composition further comprises:
 propylene glycol;   peg-100 stearate;   shea butter;   sorbitan palmitate;   panthenol; and   retinyl palmitate.   
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the composition further comprises:
 safflower (carthamus tinctorius) oil;   oleic acid;   folic acid;   peg-100 stearate;   methylparaben; and   propyl paraben.
