Abstract
An anchor system and method for fixating a post or pole to the ground. A hollow tubular member (e.g., a square-shaped one-piece metal (or other material) Fence Post Holder), that is fixed to the ground by first forcing (e.g., hammering) pointed sections on one end into the ground and then guiding metal rebars through the center of the Fence Post Holder into the ground; eliminating any rotation of the Fence Post Holder. A horizontal plate and/or tube-like and/or box-like sections may be incorporated to provide additional stability.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWe claim:
1 . A post holder comprising:
a hollow tubular member having a first end and second end, the second end including a plurality of pointed sections for hammering into the ground; a plurality of securing apertures about said hollow tubular member for receiving rebars for fixating the metal post holder to the ground.
2 . The post holder of claim 1 wherein said pointed sections have different shapes and sizes depending on the type of ground.
3 . The post holder of claim 1 wherein size and dimensions of said rebars and securing apertures are increased or decreased depending on the type of ground.
4 . The post holder of claim 1 wherein said securing apertures are positioned so that rebars are guided diagonally through the tubular hollow member.
5 . The post holder of claim 1 wherein said plurality of securing apertures about said hollow tubular further comprises top securing apertures and bottom securing apertures.
6 . The post holder of claim 1 further comprising a tube-like or box-like section installed for additional sturdiness of said metal post holder.
7 . The post holder of claim 1 further comprising a bottom plate positioned above said pointed sections.
8 . The post holder of claim 7 wherein said bottom plate includes apertures for passage of a tube-like or box-like section and/or rebar.
9 . The post holder of claim 1 wherein said hollow tubular member has a circular, triangular, rectangular, or polygonal cross-section.
10 . A method utilizing the post holder of claim 1 comprising:
securing said post holder on the ground by forcing said plurality of pointed sections into the ground; and
fixating said post holder to the ground by guiding rebars through said securing apertures and forcing said rebars into the ground.
11 . The method of claim 10 further comprising utilizing one or more plastic levelling elements inside the post holder to level the post.
12 . The method of claim 10 wherein said rebars are guided diagonally through the securing apertures to avoid rotation and reduce post holder height.
13 . The post holder of claim 10 wherein said plurality of securing apertures about said hollow tubular further comprises top securing apertures and bottom securing apertures.
14 . The method of claim 13 wherein said rebars are guided diagonally through one of said top securing apertures and one of said bottom securing apertures to avoid rotation and reduce post holder height.
15 . The method of claim 10 further comprising guiding said rebars through a tube-like or box-like section for additional sturdiness of the post holder.
16 . The method of claim 13 wherein said rebars are guided diagonally through one of said top securing apertures and a horizontal bottom plate aperture to avoid rotation and reduce post holder height.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
