Abstract

A method is provided for designing a garment having a plurality of surfaces. The method includes selecting at least one surface from the plurality of surfaces to serve as a tactile stimulating surface. The method further includes selecting a texture for the at least one surface, different from that of at least a majority of the plurality of surfaces, configured to provide tactile stimulation to a touch sensing organ.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A combination of a garment and an annotation, wherein
said garment comprises (a) a plurality of surfaces; and (b) a tactile stimulating surface having a texture different from that of at least a majority of said plurality of surfaces, and configured to provide tactile stimulation to a touch sensing organ; and said annotation comprises information regarding said tactile stimulation.

2 . The combination of claim 1 , wherein the texture of said tactile stimulating surface is not suitable for being a texture of said plurality of surfaces in view of intended use of the garment.

3 . The combination of claim 2 , wherein the location of said tactile stimulating surface relative to said plurality of surfaces is readily accessible by a touch sensing organ during the intended use of the garment.

4 . The combination of claim 3 , wherein the garment is a baby garment and wherein said location is readily accessible by involuntary movements and reflexes of the baby wearing of the garment.

5 . The combination of claim 3 , wherein said tactile stimulating surface is an inner surface of the garment when worn as intended, and said location is readily accessible to wearer of the garment in a manner which does not attract attention of an exterior viewer.

6 . The combination of claim 1 , further comprising coupling means for detachably attaching said tactile stimulating surface to at least one of said plurality of surfaces.

7 . The combination of claim 6 , wherein said coupling means are configured for repeatedly attaching and detaching said tactile stimulating surface.

8 . The combination of claim 1 , wherein said garment includes a plurality of tactile stimulating surfaces each having a texture being different from the texture of other surfaces, wherein said tactile stimulation differs between each of said surfaces.

9 . The combination of claim 8 , wherein the garment further comprises marking for indicating at least one location on at least one of said a plurality of surfaces on which said tactile stimulating surface can be mounted, wherein said location is readily accessible by a touch sensing organ during the intended use of the garment.

10 . The combination of claim 1 , wherein the annotation is in the form of at least one of the following: label attached to the garment or its package, an indication on the garment.

11 . A garment comprising a first surface constituting at least a portion of the garment and at least one second surface having a texture being different from that of said first surface, said second surface is coupled to said first surface and is configured for providing tactile stimulation to a touch sensing organ, wherein said texture of said second surface is not suitable for being a texture of the garment in view of intended use of the garment.

12 . The garment of claim 11 , wherein the garment is a baby garment and wherein said second surface is coupled to said first surface at a location thereon readily accessible by involuntary movements and reflexes of the baby wearing of the garment.

13 . The garment of claim 11 , wherein said second surface is an inner surface of the garment when worn as intended, and wherein said second surface is coupled to said first surface at a location thereon accessible to wearer of the garment in a manner which does not attract attention of an exterior viewer.

14 . The garment of claim 11 , wherein said second surface include at least three surfaces.
