Abstract
The present invention relates to an electronic device in a wireless communication system, and a wireless communication method. The electronic device in a wireless communication system of the present invention comprises: a processing circuit configured to generate resource indication information for indicating resources carrying discovery information; and a transceiver circuit configured to send the resource indication information. The electronic device and the wireless communication method of the present invention can implement a discovery process of a bandwidth-limited remote device, shorten discovery time, and save energy of the remote device and a relay device.

generate resource indication information which indicates a mapping between resource information and geolocation information for facilitating sidelink discovery between a remote UE and a relay UE; and provide the resource indication information to the remote UE and/or the relay UE served by the electronic device; wherein the resource indication information is for the remote UE and/or the relay UE to determine resource for transmitting or receiving discovery message based on the geolocation thereof.
2 . The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the electronic device is a base station.
3 . The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the electronic device is a terminal device serving as a relay UE.
4 . The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to transmit the resource indication information to the remote device through a synchronization message or a discovery announcement message.

The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to receive a discovery response message from another device other than the electronic device, and the discovery response message comprises identification information of a remote device performing device-to-device (D2D) communication with the electronic device,
wherein the discovery response message further comprises discovery reference signal received power (RSRP) information regarding the remote device measured by the another device, and wherein the circuitry is further configured to transmit the discovery response message to the remote UE and/or the relay UE served by the electronic device.
6 . The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the electronic device is a terminal device serving as a relay UE, and the resource indication information is used to indicate a priority of each resource carrying discovery information in a resource pool.
7 . The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the electronic device is a terminal device serving as a remote UE, and the resource indication information is used to indicate a resource for the remote UE receiving the discovery information.
8 . An electronic device, comprising circuitry configured to:
acquire, from a base station, resource indication information which indicates a mapping between resource information and geolocation information; determine a geolocation of the electronic device; determine resources for side link discovery based on the geolocation and the resource indication information; and transmit a discovery message to a counterpart UE with the determined resources to establish side link relay communication.
9 . The electronic device according to claim 8 , wherein the electronic device is a relay UE.
10 . The electronic device according to claim 8 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to transmit priority information of each resource carrying discovery information in a resource pool in response to acquiring the resource indication information.
11 . The electronic device according to claim 8 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to determine, according to the geolocation of the electronic device, a range of device-to-device D2D communication of the electronic device.
12 . The electronic device according to claim 8 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to determine, according to the resource indication information, a resource for the electronic device transmitting the discovery information.
13 . The electronic device according to claim 8 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to receive the resource indication information through a synchronization message.
14 . The electronic device according to claim 8 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to receive the resource indication information through a discovery request message.
15 . The electronic device according to claim 8 , wherein the resource indication information is further used to indicate a relationship between a resource for a remote device receiving the discovery information and a discovery reference signal received power (RSRP) information regarding the remote device measured by a relay device.
16 . An electronic device, comprising circuitry configured to:
acquire, from a base station, resource indication information which indicates a mapping between resource information and geolocation information; determine a geolocation of the electronic device; determine resources for side link discovery based on the geolocation and the resource indication information; and monitor a discovery message from a counterpart UE only on the determined resources to establish side link relay communication.
17 . The electronic device according to claim 16 , wherein the electronic device is a remote UE.
18 . The electronic device according to claim 16 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to receive the resource indication information through a synchronization message.
19 . The electronic device according to claim 16 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to receive the resource indication information through a discovery request message.
