Abstract
A paddle, a paddle airflow and stabilization system, a paddle apparatus, and methods of use are presented. More specifically, and without limitation, the present disclosure relates to a pickleball paddle for use in playing pickleball. More specifically, and without limitation, the present disclosure relates to a paddle airflow and stabilization system and methods of increasing speed and stability of a paddle for enhanced capabilities.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed:
1 . A paddle system, comprising:
an end cap;
the end cap extending a length from a first end to a second end between sides;
the end cap having an exterior surface and an interior surface;
a handle;
the handle extending a length from a first end to a second end;
the handle having an exterior surface;
a paddle;
the paddle extending a length from a first end to a second;
the paddle having a front surface;
a plurality of stabilizing features;
each of the plurality of stabilizing features extending a length from a first end to a second end.
2 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
the handle having a grip.
3 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
a damper.
4 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
a pallet.
5 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
the paddle having opposing sides.
6 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
the paddle having a rear surface.
7 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
the paddle having a core.
8 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
the paddle having graphics.
9 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
the paddle having an edge guard.
10 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
the paddle having a pallet.
11 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
each of the plurality of stabilizing features having an edge guard surface on the outer side.
12 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
each of the plurality of stabilizing features extending from a first end at a front surface of the paddle to a second surface at a rear surface of the paddle.
13 . Stabilization features for a paddle system, comprising:
A paddle system, comprising: an end cap;
the end cap extending a length from a first end to a second end between sides;
the end cap having an exterior surface and an interior surface;
a handle;
the handle extending a length from a first end to a second end;
the handle having an exterior surface;
a paddle;
the paddle extending a length from a first end to a second;
the paddle having a front surface;
a plurality of stabilizing features;
each of the plurality of stabilizing features extending a length from a first end to a second end;
wherein the plurality of stabilization features cause an airflow to move through the plurality of stabilization features when the paddle system is in use; wherein the airflow moving through the plurality of stabilization features causes the paddle system to stabilize and allows a user to move the paddle system more swiftly through the air.
14 . The system of claim 13 , further comprising:
the handle having a grip.
15 . The system of claim 13 , further comprising:
a damper.
16 . The system of claim 13 , further comprising:
a pallet.
17 . The system of claim 13 , further comprising:
the paddle having opposing sides; the paddle having a rear surface; the paddle having graphics.
18 . The system of claim 13 , further comprising:
the paddle having an edge guard; the paddle having a pallet; the paddle having a plurality of perforations through paddle, the plurality of perforations allowing air to move through the paddle rather than around the paddle.
19 . The system of claim 13 , further comprising:
each of the plurality of stabilizing features having an edge guard surface on the outer side; each of the plurality of stabilizing features extending from a first end at a front surface of the paddle to a second surface at a rear surface of the paddle.
20 . A method of improved aerodynamics of a paddle; comprising the steps:
providing a paddle system having a plurality of stabilization features; the paddle having a handle and at least one hitting surface; wherein the plurality of stabilization features are located along opposing sides in approximate parallel spaced relations; wherein the plurality of stabilization features are located along an edge guard; swinging the paddle through the air causing an airflow to move through the plurality of stabilization features; wherein the airflow flows through the plurality of stabilization features, allowing the paddle system to more easily move through the air.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
